Thought I would do a brief day by day report on what we did on our 3 week trip last year to get me in the mood for this year's trip :sunny:
2nd Sept - Arrived at 15:30 to a state of emergency! Hurricane due to hit in 2 days. Went to Walgreens for groceries, and then to American Pie for pizza.

3rd Sept - Walked up I-Drive to Belz but it was closed for hurricane preparations. Got I-Ride to Pointe Orlando but that was closed too. Went back to hotel for the evening.

4th Sept - Confined to hotel. Very windy and rainy but worst of hurricane expected overnight. Watched TV all day. very frustrating!

5th Sept - Another day in the hotel. Watched the winds and rain from our room and the lobby with everyone else.

6th Sept - Hurricane had passed, but still windy and rainy. Parks still closed. Got Lynx bus to Florida Mall. Ate at hotel in the evening.

7th Sept - Finally got to go to a park! SeaWorld. Stayed till mid afternoon, then went back to hotel. Went to City Walk in the evening and had Hurricane cocktails from Pat O'Brien's :)

8th Sept - Got Lynx bus to Premium Outlets. Bought a few bits, then got bus to Belz and Festival Bay. Wandered round, then went to Florida Mall. (Bit of a mad shopping day this)!!

9th Sept - Magic Kingdom :cheer2: Fairly quiet, and managed to ride everything we wanted to with no problems. DTD in the evening and icecream at Ghiradellis :earboy2:

10th Sept - Got Lynx bus to downtown Orlando. Wandered round the town centre, and had a look at Lake Eola. Didn't really stay long. Got bus to Mall of Millenia for some window shopping. Had dinner at Bahama Breeze - lovely :flower:

11th Sept - MGM. Again, hardly any lines for any of the rides :sunny: In the afternoon, we got the boat to the Boardwalk Resort and had a look round there. DTD again in the evening.

12th Sept - Bus to Premium Outlets. Bought quite a bit. Stayed at hotel this evening.

13th Sept - Universal. Went on pretty much everything. Hopped over to IOA in the afternoon. Had dinner at Margaritaville in the evening.

14th Sept - Typhoon Lagoon. Lovely lazy day :goodvibes
Had dinner at the Ming Court on I-Drive, very nice.

15th Sept - Animal Kingdom - Quite a relaxed pace today. Went to MGM late afternoon. Fantasmic in the evening :wizard:

16th Sept - Lazy day. Did a lot of sleeping, we were so tired!! City Walk in the evening, went to the cinema.

17th Sept - Epcot. I love this park :Pinkbounc Took the boat ride to MGM and back - very relaxing and you see a lot of the Disney resorts this way. IllumiNations in the evening, my fave :goodvibes

18th Sept - MGM again, but only so DF could buy himself a light saber :rolleyes1 . We then headed over to DTD and did a lot of shopping. MK in evening for Spectromagic and Wishes :cloud9:

19th Sept - IOA. Went on everything! Had lunch in Circus McGurkus. Hopped over to Universal later on to ride the Mummy again. City Walk again in the evening. Had dinner in Pastamore.

20th Sept - Bus to Belz, then onto Mall of Millenia again so I could have another look round Bloomingdales and Macys :flower:

21st Sept - Got the bus from Mercado to Busch Gardens. Rained heavily all day :umbrella: still had a good time though.

22nd Sept - Did a lot of our packing today. Also had a wander up and down I-Drive, and lazed by the pool.

23rd Sept - last day  Went to Pointe Orlando and had lunch in Johnny Rockets. Got taxi to airport at 2pm

Well, that's it. Not a proper trip report, but is bringing it all back to me and can get excited now for our next trip on 7th September :sunny:

Gosh you did lose a lot of your trip didn;t you? I suppose at least you were in Orlando though and not stranded at the airport in the UK :)

I agree that doing a trippie is just the thing to make you look forward to your next trip :goodvibes

Nasty business these hurricanes. How awful to lose so many days of your holiday, I hope everything goes okay for you this year.

You did a lot of catching up after days missed because of hurricane Frances (I was there too :umbrella: ) So you're 'risking' the same time frame this year? - sure it'll be fine :sunny: The time to avoid will be early October (because that's when I'll be in South Carolina and my luck with weather ain't been great this year either  )
