Bridge to Disney Springs from Saratoga

If you are at the sales office, you can walk to Congress Park and then take the bridge across to Disney Springs. It might still be about 15 minutes to get to the movie theater. If you need it to take less than 15 minutes, you need to modify or change one or the other. There is another bridge near the boat dock that gets you across to near the Cirque theater, but even that, you'll need at least 15 minutes. You cannot walk on the golf cart paths, so make sure that isn't what you are seeing on the map.

Thanks for the info. I was looking at the bridge near the boat dock. Could I cross that on foot and then go across the parking lot? Just looks like a 10 minute walk to enter near the Cirque theater or follow the path near the water. Actually, if I was briefly on the golf cart path I could step off if a cart came our way. The other way via Congress Park is much further both from the DVC area and from the theatre. Of course if a boat is there and we have the time we will just take that instead but if we just miss one then no way will we make it.

You are not permitted on the golf course in any way unless you are playing golf.

Hmm, ok. I have never heard that before. Are signs posted? Of course, I hope it doesn't come down to a 10-15 minute rush but if it does we will have to make a decision then. On Google Maps its called "Saratoga Springs Nature path" and if you stay along the water it goes to Disney Springs. Maybe DVC can drive us there on a golf cart :P.

That is golf etiquette. You can't even walk to play golf on the 18 hole golf courses at WDW; you must use a golf cart. Only the one 9 hole course at WDW permits golfers to walk and they must use a pull cart. If you are just watching a golfer play and riding along in the golf cart, you are required to pay a fee. There are signs directing to paths that you can walk on. But if you see a golf cart on that path, you need to retrace your steps and get off it. Pedestrians on the golf course interfere with golf play.

You could just take an Uber from SSR to the movie theater. It would be the fastest without breaking rules.
