I found at Belks yesterday they had Shannon Crystal Wedding Coaches. They are so cute but I was wondering if I could get those for my bridesmaids. Do you think they will like it? I am planning on having the cinderella coach for my transportation and I was thinking they could put it somewhere in their homes and always remember the Disney Wedding they attended. They are on sale for 19.99. So, If I bought them the Coaches would that be enough? Should I get them some more things? I have 8 bridesmaids.

So, if you were a bridesmaid - would you like it?

Here is the picture of them from EBAY.. however, I am not getting them from there.. I am getting them at Belks.

I was thinking of getting my flowergirls one too. I just want to make sure that is good and I wouldn't need to buy something more.

Those are pretty and very unique! For my bridesmaids, I am going to build-a-bear and having a teddy stuffed for each of them and then dressing them each as a different disney princess (Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Snow White and Ariel)

The coach is pretty.

Are your bridesmaids all big Disney fans? I ask, because is they aren't, they may not be thrilled with the gift. If you have 8 bridesmaids who all aspire to be princesses themselves, then I think it would be a great gift. If not - I would try to find something more personalized to them.

As for if its enough, that's a choice only you can make. Personally, I wouldn't have felt comfortable giving my bridesmaids a $19.99 gift after they had spent a ton of money flying to Disney for my wedding, buying a dress they will only wear once, and paying for hotel rooms. I know they say its the thought not the gift that counts, but I wouldn't feel comfortable with that scenario.

I think the carriages are great and will represent a great memory. I think maybe you should get them another thing to go with it, and you could make that item more personal.

I also got my bridesmaids an initial necklace from Things Remembered which came with a trinket box that you could personalize

Have to agree with hmgolden, if your bridemaids all love Disney and the Pricesses, then it's sweet, but otherwise go with something more personal. I've been a bridesmaid and MOH lots and lots of times and my favorite gift was a silver bracelet with my initial charm on it. I still wear that bracelet, whereas I can't even remember what other gifts I've gotten and some things, like trinket boxes and figurines and things that just weren't "me" I've sold in garage sales :rolleyes1

I had just a MOH (my niece and God daughter) and I paid for her 1st room night, her dress, her shoes, her hair, and her jewelry. After the wedding I gave her a frame engraved with "My Maid of Honor; My Niece; My Friend; October 20, 2005" around the 4 sides of the frame and put in a picture of her and me from the wedding day - she loved that.

It would depend on if they really are into that sort of thing or not. I love Disney, but I just couldn't see myself putting that in my house. It just woulnd't go. I was the MOH for my best friend a few weeks ago and she gave us great tote bags, bath and body stuff, our jewlery, our shoes, candles and candle holders, and a few other things to personalize our tote.

Hey Everybody - Thanks for the suggestions. I totally agree about getting something else - I have only been a bridesmaid once (last month actually) and I got a polka dotted bag with my initials embroided on it and some goodies in the inside. The tote was great.. but now I am getting married and I won't be needing those initals.

I'm not sure if they are all Disney princess at heart - but I think they are pretty sentimental enough that they will enjoy them. Being from Mississippi - :) and having a DIsney World Wedding is something big - and for them to be asked to be in it - they were all ecstatic.

I like the idea of paying for their rooms a night - Which night should I pay for? My wedding is on Sunday at 7 30PM and they will arrive on Saturday. Do I pay for both nights or just one of the nights or for the whole time they want to stay?
