Does anyone have any suggestions for a smaller bouquet or a lower cost alternative to a regular bridemaid bouquets other than a rose wand. Thinking maybe a small cluster of roses or gerber daiseys just not sure how much they would cost. Thanks!

Can't help coz I'm sort of in the same boat ;)

I like the rose wands, but apparently my bridesmaids don't... :confused3 I don't really want to pay too much for the bridesmaid bouquets, especially if I get real flowers because they'll just be thrown away.

The sample pricing I have states "bridesmaid bouquet $125.00), but I have a feeling they could be done for less, especially if you do a bouquet of gerber daisies.

You can ask for less flowers to be put in to reduce the price. That's what I did. My bridesmaid bouquets were $75 each as opposed to $125. You can see their size compared to mine (which my sister on the far right is holding).

Those are very pretty and the perfect size! It makes me feel a little better that you were able to reduce the price and still have beautiful bouquets. I am waiting for my floral BEO as we speak but i have a feeling they are quoting larger sizes so this is going to give me an alternative... thanks so much!

I was worried too, but it ended up not mattering. No one looks at the bridesmaid bouquets. No one cares about their flowers. And they are thrown away after basically 20 minutes. Spend the money on food or something worth it :thumbsup2

The only thing that bothers me are those closed roses...grrrr ::shakes fist::

My bridesmaids are actually carrying single red roses. Disney Floral is wrapping the end to match everything else but i was in the same boat as you guys. I didn't want to spend a fortune on flowers that are just getting thrown away. I didn't really care for the rose wand so this was a good alternative. I'm also having a beauty and the beast theme (not that anyone will recognize that with the single red roses but it was part of my thought process). Because my bridesmaids are having a single red rose, my bouquet is going to be the normal size of the bridesmaids bouquets... again saving money. HTH

I skipped the bridesmaid bouquets and decided to make my own. I figured that no one would really notice or care...and I'd rather spend the money else where. $75 for flowers to be held for a few minutes was to pricey and I did not deem that as something necessary.

I'm having my flowers done by A Little Shop of Flowers here in Longwoodm FL. (they deliver to disney for no extra charge) They have a nice package right now that includes a lot of stuff for $185. I'm not sure exactly what's in the package but it's a long list of things.

Here's the website if you want to check it out. They have been around in Orlando for years! I got my flowers for prom there almost 5 years ago when they were in Alt. Springs.

I think if you just called and asked them what the special includes they will be happy to tell you.

I'm going with an outside florist because the Disney florist prices are double or tripple what I can get, so spending that on something else is more reasonable to me.

THats a good idea too! Do you happen to have a picture or if you wouldn't mind how much is it costing you per bridesmaids. This is very helpful thank you!

We went w/calla lillies, and then when we got the floral proposal or w/e saw that mine was gonna be a lot, plus there was gonna be a seperate bouquet to toss. I always figured I'd toss my own, and my mom did that, so we asked if I could, and it was just a matter of size. So they reduced mine to the size of my girls, and reduced theirs to 6. One of my girls ended up catchin' mine, and the plan was to let her keep it, because I dunno...I don't need it! It was nice to have the day, but the memories are all I need. :)

Calla lillies are so pretty. Thats a very good idea too. IF you dont mind how much was it for 6? I was also thinking you could do one large white calla lily. I wonder if anyone has done this.

They were really pretty! I was so happy when I saw them! :) Thanks! $75 They were ivory cuz of my dress, and we also added in red hidden Mickeys (red was the color of my girls' dresses) for $9.

Gerber daisies!! My MOH will be carrying a Gerber daisy bouquet that will cost $50 through Disney. My inspiration that I sent to Rosie and what I want it to look like:

Those are sooooo pretty. Currently i have a mixture of gerber daisys and roses. I have no clue the price yet as i am waiting for the BEO. But I forgot to mention sizes i was so wrapped up in the flowers so i have a feeling they will be the larger size bridesmaid bouquets. I just love the size of this one and $50 is great. Thank you soooo much.

Not sure of the prices but what about wrist corsages as an alternate option?

I don't have a picture but the stem will be wrapped sheer ribbon (my floral planner had pics when we went for our PS).

this is the route i'm thinking too - no idea what the prices might be though.... i have one attendant but was thinking of a corsage or something for the 3 step mom/moms, grandma and sister in law in attendance. want something nice but affordable...
