Brides.. how often do you visit the world?

I only live 15 minutes away. I average like one trip a week. Yeah, it's that bad. Except in the summer, I think I only average one trip a month, cause it's too hot and too crowded!

Growing up we went just about every year. Now DH & I are DVC members so we go a few times a year. After this months trip we probably won't be back until sometime next year.

Depends, when I lived in Florida we would go anywhere from 4 to 10 times a year. and then I went to college...

2004: 0 :(
2005: 0 :(
2006: 2
2007: 3 (4 if you count my Disney Cruise)
2008: 1 planned (wedding), the rest depends on if I get a job in Florida or if I'm stuck up here in MA (if in florida, frequency weekend trips, if in MA, 1 more trip in October)

I count myself as a Disney nut, but I don't go anywhere near as often most brides seem to! We went together about 8 years ago, made a trip to Disneyland 2 years ago, and then went for our wedding. We're planning a second honeymoon with three days in the World and a 7 day cruise in 2009 to celebrate him completing his PhD, but then it will probably be a few years before we go back.

We've talked about it, actually, and have decided that going too often would spoil the special-ness of it for us. (NOT a criticism of others, just how we feel. Even if I am green with envy at those who get to go all the time!) I don't ever want Disney to feel "done." Plus, there are many other places we want to go, so I think Disney will be a once every three to five years vacation for us.

That's the best way to make frequent trips. We have maybe 1 or 2 trips a year where we actually stay on property and eat table service meals. We've never stayed at Ft. Wilderness, but I'd love to! I've always told DF that when we retire I want to buy a RV, live at Ft. Wilderness, and work for Disney!

LOL - DF and I have had that SAME conversation!!! I'm not a camper and I've never stayed in an RV, but to be able to afford to live at the world and have free tickets being a CM - what could be better?

Oh, and on the original topic. I went the first time when I was 10, then a couple years later, my parents bought a timeshare in orlando, so we went every year when I was in HS. In college I knew people in FLA so I went a couple times a year, but only for a day or two. For a couple years after that, it was every other year. Now since I took DF the first time, we go every year. Next month we'll be making our second trip this year (3rd on the AP's we got when we booked the wedding). I doubt I'll ever go back 3 times in 12 months again, but it's a nice reason to go back - free dining twice (last sept and this sept) and free tickets for 3 weeks - not too bad a deal in my book.

DF and I have talked about starting to go other places, but so far that hasn't happened. I know we'll go back at least once next year as we still have to get around to actually having our wedding....

From the u.k so its a long way, but me & DF just love visting the u.s and have been going to disney for the last 3 years:love: This will be our 1st trip staying on property for us as its our wedding cant :cool1: wait

DH and I go about once a month for day trips and stay over 1 or 2 nights a few times a year.

When I lived in Orlando I went every other week, espeically during wedding planning :)
