OK so how much did you pay to have your hair and make-up done? What did you pay for a trail run. Did they charge you the same for your bridesmaids? My daughter is getting married. (Not at the world) and trying to find out a good price) Thanks

This is going to vary greatly by location. You really should check a few in your area. I think in Orlando the average is about $60 for hair and $60 for makeup + add ons like eyelashes, and travel fees. I've seen prices much higher and much lower. Depending on cost-of-living in your area it may be different. Here in Cincinnati/Northern Ky I do bridal makeup and charge $50 for the bride ($20 for a trial and consultation), and $35 for all other faces. I charge a $30 travel fee if it's more than 15 miles, and $15 an hour if they want me to stay for touchups, etc. It's customary in my area for the bride to be more expensive. I, of course had to do a lot of research before setting all of this up--and found how different each area of the country is. You may want to check the ads on different wedding sites, or google "bridal makeup xxx, ny" Most places have search information set up like that. Also, check with past brides in your area for recommendations--this may be very helpful as some artists do this on the side and do not advertise (like me!).

If you decide to go to a department store to have the makeup done, expect a 2-3 item purchase per face (including trial)... that's pretty standard.

Hope this helps!

I have a regular hairdresser I go to for cuts and she did my hair for both my trial run and on my wedding day (she had just gotten in the night before from a cruise and came in just for me). She charged me $50 for the trial run and did my hair the day of the wedding as a gift to me, along with a beautiful picture frame.

I went to the Estee Lauder counter at Dillards and they did my makeup both times for free. Mom did end up purchasing something one of the times though, it was a lipstick or something she was going to buy anyway. Each of the girls in my bridal party went and had their makeup done for free as well, I just had to let the girls at the counter know their names.

It is going to depend on where you live and the salon you choose.

This does help. I had a girl give us a price and It was 160 for the bride and the same for the girls. Now I think that is a good price for the bride but no way for the bridesmaids. I think we willl look around. :) Thanks, Anyone else?

I work with Debbie at www.debrasdos.com

She charges $65 for hair and $55 for makeup (or viceversa, not sure). She's fantastic and it's the same price for both bride / bridesmaids. Not sure what her trial run is though.

I honestly don't remember exact costs now, but I had an excellent & professional stylist who came to my location three days all at 0600!

Tiffany at www.professionalelegance.com

She has some of my photos on her site-I am the Bride with the Groom wearing the Mickey & Minnie t shirts. She has photos of my wedding day hair & preparation. She uses a great airbrush foundation that even lasted thru the water photos!

All her prices are listed on the site- with no surprises!

Good luck!

Has anyone got married at WDW and booked hair&make-up for their wedding day but not had a trial run before? I'm a UK bride and would love to have someone make my look lovely for my wedding day, but worried it would go wrong on the day and not be what i want / not look good on me etc and i dont think there would be time to have a trial run before the day itself.......

I've requested Beaute Speciale and have sent them a deposit. I won't be able to have a trial run either as we won't be arriving until 4/11 and our VR is on 4/13. I figure I'll have pictures of how I would like my hair to be and perhaps pictures for make up. Basically I want a "natural" look (as if I'm not wearing makeup because I normally don't wear a lot of it anyway).

I'd love to know the estimate cost so I can plan for it when they arrive. It will only be me having my hair & make up done.

I'm a UK bride without time for a trial as well. What I decided to do was have a trial at home and take lots of pics to show them what style I would like.
I have booked beaute Speciale and they seem very friendly and have lots of great reviews on here. I found their prices very reasonable too.

I have to tell anyone who will listen about my awesome hair and makeup person that I found for my wedding. Her name is Samantha and she's so amazing. I had the worst time finding someone who could actually do pretty makeup and hair and not make me look like I was goin to prom. She wasn't even that expensive. Anyway- she doesn't advertise so I thought I would help out some other brides and post her email. Here it is: bridalbeautygirl yahoo.com
