Bride Minnie and Groom Mickey Plush Discontinued

For those interested, Disney had discontinued the Bride Minnie and Groom Mickey plush. There are still a bunch of the Groom Mickey plush available, but the Brides are almost gone. I needed a set and had to have a CM call around for me. They found a couple at Beach Club Mercantile. No others left.

Thats not good news!!

I recently visited Disneyland Paris & saw a version of the mickey & minnie bride & groom plush that i ve never seen available before (outfits are slightly diff to the ones i ve seen other people owning as well as diff from ones sold on ebay). They were gorgeous, silly me thought i ll get them when we go back next year so im really hoping they re still be available. I know here in the Uk you can still purchase them from the Disney Store or at least you could a few weeks back but by the sounds of it they may not be available much longer .

Do you know if they re just taking them off the shelves to alter the design or if its something that won't be being replaced?? It ll be such a shame if they re not gonna be available much longer as they look great next to the cake at wedding reception plus are great keepsakes.

They are still in our Uk disney stores so maybe you could get them imported.
They have cushions and car plushs too.

It is always possible that they will come out with a new version. Last night, merchandising just told me they were discontinued. It seemed rather odd to me since they were always good sellers. Of course, I long ago stopped trying to understand Disney's marketing strategy.

I think who ever has made the decision to stop making them has made a bad choice! Surely due to the fact that Disney weddings are becoming so popular they would realise that items especially like the plush dolls are must haves for brides to be. I thought they were beginning to really branch out on the wedding merchandise so this seems to be a bit of a u turn. Its such a shame though, in the Uk our Disneystores have just started to stock a few items of wedding related merchandise although its still pretty limited in choice. I guess once they stop selling them we will all be held ransom to ebay.

If all else fails try to log on to the uk Disneystore as i know last week the plush dolls were still being sold here. Im so gutted i never purchased the ones from Disneyland Paris, i live in hope that by some small miracle that they are there when we go back.

Disney hopefully may decide to bring them back especially if they receive a lot of requests for them, can't imagine them turning down the opportunity to earn more $

I certainly hope they bring them back! They're a wonderful gift for even those who aren't getting married at Disney!

I certainly hope they're just in for a redesign. It seems their Mickey and Minnie bridal items sell so well! I'm going in 2 weeks and I'll post what I find. (I'll be in 75% of the stores anyway, lol)

slightly could I ask if you happened to notice if DLP sold the bride ears headband and groom ears tophat? I've got to get up at 3am on Monday to take my mum to the airport so she can go to DLP so thought she could get me these as a reward, IF they sell them. I thought it would be cool if we got them in advance and wore them to the airport for our flight in the HOPE that we might get afree upgrade!
