Bride Entrance Ceremony Music

Hey guys...needed an opinion. When we were picking out ceremony music I knew I really didn't want to walk to the traditional "here comes the bride" song down the aisle. I know some people had recomended walking to "when you wish upon a star". When we met with our planner she made the comment that the bride should walk to something with more "energy" and recomended either "trumpet fanfare" or "cinderella at the palace". Both of these songs don't sound so great on the sample CD, although I have heard the cd does no justice to the songs. Has anyone heard these two songs in person and/or walked to them or have any other suggestions for a song that worked really well? Thanks!!!

the Cd DOES NOT do it any justice at all. really disney needs to redo that cd because i was afraid as well. Let me tell you that music fills the wedding pavilion with such power and energy it is so emotional. Choose a song that has meaning to you or just feels right when you hear it and it will be great. good luck

I used the Trumpet Voluntary for my entrance. It sounded great on the organ!

If you want "When You Wish Upon a Star" go for it! Energy, schmenergy - it's your wedding, and you can walk in to a Nine Inch Nails song if you want.

I walked in to "A Whole New World" (the instrumental version) and it was perfect! I agree with above poster...it's your wedding and should be what YOU want!

I thought the music on the CD sucked. Does anybody out there have audio from their ceremonies that makes the organ in the WP sound better? I was thinking I needed to bring a boom box!

I used "here comes the bride", but was just thinking that the Spectromagic medley from the old Music From the Park CD (I was just listening to it on my ipod) would be really pretty.
