Bride and Groom Ears

I had the head band bride ears and wore them from when the plane touched down in FL until I got on the plane to come home 12 days later! I HATE the new Groom ears. They are ugly and dumb! They just look stupid and I don't know any guy who would wear them. My Husband (ekk..sounds so weird) wore a Groom Visor, but still got 100's of "Where are your ears?" from well wishers.

Last time I was at disney recently I couldn't find the top hats either only the new ones !

They go out of stock a lot at WDW, but they are still being made. We have a ton at Disneyland.

I'm not even close to married yet, but I love seeing couples in them! I think they're adorable, and I agree with PPs, when will you get to do it again (besides vow renewal)? I say go for it! I love stopping couples to congratulate them and wish them the best! Oh, and congratulations as well! I hope you have a truly wonderful time.

I almost bought myself a pair of groom ears just because the hat was comfy and cute but then I realized a top hat did not work with my collection of sundresses!

So I just checked online and look at the new bride ears!!! I found it on ebay. White classic hat style with rhinestones on the ears and base of the hat, a veil AND a tiara!



NOt as ugly as the groom, but the headband is so cuuuute!

DH called disney and the confirmed the new bride ear look. Apparently there was some focus group study to pick these. It does evoke a more classic "ears" hat.

I might buy the new bride ears when we get to Disney if they are really cute in person and then switch between the two. if not i'm sticking with the headband for me and the top hat for DF

Some day when I meet my prince I want to have a Disney wedding and get a pair of Disney bride & groom Mickey ears to wear on our honeymoon; they are the cutest things!

I have not decided if I'm going to take mine with to WDW. (Hard to pack...) We wore them at our rehearsal. We got them at the World of Disney in NY. (That is where he proposed (on top of the Empire State Building at sunset....) We have ball caps that would seem easier on the rides... Does anyone have any top hat packing tips? I'm not sure he will want to wear them on the 5 hour flight... Congrats to all!

I got one of those round Christmas Boxes at Hobby Lobby for 1/2 off, and covered it with Wedding Wrapping paper! it's perfect for the Groom's top hat!

DF and I made a deal...He didn't have to wear the top hat...but did have to wear the pin. That was before I found Lurkyloo's baseball hat. However, he will wear the pin. I will probably wear the bridal ears...Ok so I'm getting them when we get to DTD in Feb. AND I will be wearing them!!!
After seeing the new grooms hat...There is no way my DF will be caught wearing that! He'd run away if I even suggested it. (I wouldn't blame him at that point!)

I knew two people going to Disney and they have both bought me back the bride ears. I'm going to doctor a pair onto a baseball cap (a la lurkyloo) and keep the others to wear if I don't want to wear the cap.

DBF is going to wear standard Mickey ears over his baseball cap. The caps say Bride and Groom on them.

I agree - where else and when else can you wear them? Bring on the ears!!

Anybody want to sell me their bride headband ears and groom top ears? I'm sure it is a sentimental keepsake... but I thought I'd ask just in case we can't find them once we get there in a month.

We will use them and then pass to a friend is also disneymooning in march and would like that style.

We live in the UK and I haven't been to WDW (DF has quite a few years ago though)... We certainly won't be going before our wedding, but I had my heart set on some of the Minnie Bride ears on a headband....However, someone else on the DIS told me they were being changed. When I looked I really didn't like the new style.... But, my lovely DF tracked me down a brand new pair on Ebay and I shall be getting them for either my birthday or Christmas.... I'm thrilled and can't wait to wear them on Honeymoon in DLRP! So if you like the old style ones, there's quite a few pairs on Ebay!

When I was there in November they had the new style of both the bride hat and the groom one.... I don't think I could get my man to even think of wearing the groom one, but the top hat one he might wear......

I just ordered them through Disney on Monday. It was $40 for both of them including shipping.
