Bridal Portraits online! check 'em out please!

I liked your hair so much that I made a mental note to myself to try that out when I go for my hair and make-up trial. Absolutely stunning pictures....and the reception site is beautiful! What georgeous pictures you and your future hubby will have!

I think you look like a princess princess: Your dress is gorgeous and I love your hair. I think it looks elegant and compliments the dress. Best wishes for your magical day and lifetime together. :bride: DH & I are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversay next month in Disney World and have loved every minute of being married to him

Heather you look absolutely beautiful and I know you'll cherish these photos for years to come :goodvibes

You look so beautiful...like a princess and the backdrop is stunning!

I don't mean to sound ignorant but I am guessing "bridal portraits" are something that is a southeren tradition? or am i missing soemthing that I should have looked into :confused3 :rotfl: I don't think these are customary here in NY but it seems like a good way to practice for the big day!

I'm from the north, but now live in the south. I hadn't heard of such a thing until I moved here. I think it must be a southern thing too. Cool idea, though!

me to! I just thought it was a universal thing. I did it b/c I want pictures of me in my dress by myself and I dont want to take up time doing that on my wedding day. Plus, when you walk into the reception the "thing to do" i guess you couls say is have a big huge portrait of you in your wedding dress from the portraits up on an esal (sp) so ppl can see it when they walk in. I never thought about ti being different or southern! plus, its a great hair and makeup trial, and you can see how long it will take to get into your dress, make sure you have everything down-pat and ready to go!

Heather, you look beautiful. I love the pictures, the reception site and your hair! Wow.

Having the bridal portrait at the reception is a southern thing too I think! :goodvibes

Those have to be the most beautiful bridal pictures I have ever seen. They are stunning. The house, Im speachless. Do people actually live there. I want it, so Gone With the Wind.

I dont know how you are going to choose from those pictures. They are wonderful. Good luck with the choosing part. If I were you, I would want to buy them all.

Thanks for sharing,
Kerri

thank you so much! how sweet  very gone with the wind huh!?! anyway, since you asked, i can give a little "background" on the plantation. it is called SOuthern Oaks Plantation (www.southernoaksplantation.com) and it is right by the water in New Orleans East. So I guess a long long time ago people did live there, how neat! anyway, then, ppl said it was haunted ooohhhh b/c every business ppl tried to start flopped. it was a restaurant, bed and breakfast, etc. then a family bought it for receptions and it has been doing awesome for like 25-30 years or something. cant wait to have my reception there in 2 months! oh, and the owners LOVE disney! they used to go done there for like hospitality conventions and such, and they are so nice there, and they said htye got there ideas/hospitality etc. from Disney! :cheer2:

Heatherlynn,

What a fantastic place to get married. I went to the website and it is so beautiful. A super romantic setting. Tell me you will have one of those sweet carriages to bring you to the ceremony.

I wish I was getting married. That would be the perfect spot. Too bad Ive been married now for 14 years :confused3

Again, best of luck to you.

Kerri :wave2:
