I was told the other way around when i was in WDW in February. The headband style is being replaced with the style you pictured.

What about the grooms hat? My DF doesn't like the one with the mini top hat....

These rumors make the rounds every so often, but so far the bride headband and groom top hat are still available in mass quantities at the parks every time we go. We were at Disneyland two weeks ago and saw a ton of the bride headbands.

The style pictured in that eBay listing has not been sold in many years. There's a newer version that has a little tiara on top of the ear hat that goes with the groom ear hat with the tiny top hat and faux tux front.

So they no longer are making just the top hat with ears? I have seen them in pictures but they don't sell them on the disney online store?

I just came back two weeks ago from WDW and they are selling the large top hat with ears as well. All styles (except for that very old one on e-bay) are available all over the parks and at the GF - we had no problems finding what we wanted. Even young girls were buying the bridal hats and bridal head bands. No need to worry - these are horrible rumours

Yes, they still sell the top hat with ears, just not on the DisneyStore.com.

Thanks! Actually the ones in the eBay auction are the ones I want as I want to take them apart and make a specialized/personalized set of ears. Especially since it sounds like everyone wears them...I am looking to make something different.

I've been in disneyland the last two days and both styles are everywhere. I also saw more top hats than the tux looking ones for the guys.

I have a top hat with ears and the bridal ears shown buy lurky for sale. We received two pairs and need to get ride of one! PM me if you are interested! Just a heads up though if you are interested I will be in Disney this week and not on Disboards so I will respond upon my return! HTH!

Not sure when you are leaving - and you probably left already - but I had two sets of the bridal headband style (I got one for my shower and then later on someone else purchased one for me). I had already worn the one from my shower but I was able to return the other one (still had the tags on them) and use the credit towards something else from the World of Disney store in DTD. I would suggest bringing them down with you and returning one set.
