hi everyone, going to the world in september. i need to know if anyone knows if they are going to start or have started to sell those bricks again (where your name is ingraved in it and it goes in the walk. somewhere. i don't know where they put them but it is in a walkway. if anyone knows of this please let me know. thank you for any info.

They are no longer selling them, And I haven't heard of them re-starting to sell them either. But I wish they would there are several that are empty.

Wouldn't you love for them to begin selling bricks again! I'd love to have my own little brick at WDW. Everytime we walk over one, or see one w/o engraving, I wish I had one!

I'd love that, too! My family wishes we could get one with my mom's name engraved on it to remember her, since she's the one who worked extra hours to pay for all our WDW triips and got us all hooked! I think it would be wonderful to have a brick there in one of her favorite places on earth!

thank you for your response. i sure wish they were selling them. i wanted to get my brother one and also i couldn't leave my husband and i out. where are they at. which park i don't know if i ever really seen them. thank you again.

When I was just there, I saw a couple new bricks that I swear said a date around 2002 and 2004!

I also was so touched when I was walking towards the entrance, and a family was excitedly exclaiming "oh my god1 we found our brick!! we found it!!" I'd love for that to be my family one day.

DISNEY, START SELLING WALK AROUND THE WORLD BRICKS!!!

I couldn't believe how many empty ones there were! Lots!! :flower:

Last time i heard anything is they will start selling bricks when leaving a legacy is filled in Epcot

Ours is on the walkway between the Poly and the GF. Everytime we go to WDW we walk over and take a pic. I would like to buy another one. Wish they would start selling them again.

Ours is located just to the left of the bus turn around loop at the Magic Kingdom. Ever since they took the booth away it has been difficult to find them. Ours was in an area that got washed out every time it rained. The last time we were there we finally found it again (Xmas 2005)

does anyone know how much the leave a legacy is at epcot? and can you have 1 adult and 2 kids on it?

We were dissapointed to find they had stopped selling the bricks at the entrance to MK, we wanted one to celebrate our wedding last month, we were told the only thing we could do was "leave a legacy" at Epcot, It was $25US for a tile with text only, not sure how much the picture ones were, sorry, but i did see some that had 3 people in the picture, so you should be ok there!!
good luck,

Someone on one of the message boards just had a brick made for their wedding. They had to find the right people in GR to speak to.

For real??? My family wanted to get my parents a brick for their 50th wedding anniversary in 2001 but when I checked I was told they had stopped selling them. I would love it if they began selling them again!!! :cool1:

We bought our brick in 1997. It was a wedding gift from my in-laws. If I remember correctly they are in for 10 years. Not sure what the plan is afterwards.

Our is on the walkway from the TTC to the Poly.

I wanted a brick too but missed out because we wanted to add our newest edition and he wasn't born yet.

But we do have Leave a Legacy! :)

They're gonna hire a guy with a sharp stick to go around and flip 'em over to the plain side.

:goodvibes

It's on the walkway between CR and MK. I had to write down where it was so
I could find it! It cost $50 at the time. I'm sad to hear that eventually it will
be "flipped over". I was hoping to leave that legacy forever. :sad2:
