Bret Michaels suffers brain hemmorrhage

My dad had an aneurysm when he was 55- made it through the initial one- by the time the ambulance came he was speaking and commenting that it was raining- just as they got him to the hospital he had a massive bleed and was dead as soon as we shut the life support off. Unfortunatly we did not donate his organs-simply because no one asked us if we would! We were in such shock that it did not even occur to us until after the fact but my dad was in great health other than the aneurysm and certainly could have helped others if they had only asked us at the hospital!!

They might not have asked, because if they had looked on the back of his driver's license and he didn't check the box that he was willing to be a donor, hospitals didn't pursue it as they do nowadays.

I hope Bret recovers. I really like him on the apprentice. He is willing to work and help when necessary.

Bret seems like a really good guy. I've probably seen Poison a dozen times over the years. You can tell he really loves being on stage and he loves his fans. Got a chance to meet him backstage about 10 years ago. It was brief, but he was super nice, appreciative and he took the time to take a picture with me and give me his autograph. I really hope he's gonna be OK.

Me too. He has a lot of medical issues with himself and his family but he works hard and seems like a nice guy. I wish for a complete recovery.

I love him! I fell in love many years ago when I was 13.. Im so heart broken.. I seen him in concert last summer . I thought he was so awesome esply how he was in such support of our troops

It could go either way... one of the earlier reports I read said that he had died en route to the hospital.

I was checking out his website but earlier I couldn't get on it. I guess that there's likely too many hits now.

Last night it said that there was a lot of misinformation out there and that he was stable but critical.

Bret Michaels, who suffered from a brain hemorrhage Friday was said to be conscious and in stable condition.

However, on Saturday, the rocker's tour manager, Janna Elias, who is at Michaels hospital bedside, said: “There are several incorrect reports on Bret's condition. Bret remains in critical condition at an undisclosed location. Further tests are being ran and information will be updated in the coming days.”

For sure not- it happened late at night, he was in his pajamas and we didn't even take his wallet to the hospital with us so they couldn't have looked at his license.

Your guess is as good as ours. Having a brain bleed by your brain stem is bad, bad news. I would gander that he did not wake up and probably won't make it. I hope I am wrong.

They are very careful with brain stuff obviously. My dad had the same thing that Bret did about 10 years ago - he's also a diabetic. He was in Neurological ICU for 2 weeks but was fine the entire time. He had actually gone on a business trip after having the hemorrhage and didn't even know it. It wasn't until his bad headache didn't go away that he sought medical treatment. He is monitored from time to time but had no recurrence.

I am a big fan. I think that although the Rock of Love shows were horrible he seems like a great guy. The way he talks about his kids shows how caring he really is. Poor guy had that mishap on one of the award shows, emergency appendix surgery and now this.........just hope he makes it and is around to take care of them for years to come.

To give an update on the medical issue the American lead vocalist of Poison, Bret Michaels’ father,Wally Sychek, said that his son is recovering from suffering a massive brain hemorrhage.

“He sounded upbeat and positive but they had him sedated. But he’s doing good. He sounded like my son,” he told Radar Online.

“We’re all keeping our fingers crossed and saying our prayers. He just needs to be quiet now and get rested,” Bret’s dad continued.

I was so sad to hear this. My best friend is a huge Bret Micheals friend and took me a few summers ago when poison was in town and I too fell in love. I hope he makes it. With really having no concrete answers lately it is beginning to worry me.
