I am so sorry that I have been MIA. With dh travel a ton and the kids getting sick, life was hectic. Well, now I am sick. UGH! Anyway, we received a very special Mickey Mail Package and I wanted to share the pictures. The person who sent it wanted to remain anonymous, but I thank them from the bottom of my heart for making the kids day (and my day)!

There were also shirts for dh and I , but he was out of town, so we didn't get pics of us yet, but you will be sure to see them on us in Disney! Thank you again, my secret friend!

They were very happy. They love getting mail and were so surprised to see they got something!

Yes it does match his cast. And it helps my OCD. LOL I have a tendency to buy clothes to match his cast. Black was nice this time since it matched a lot! We are going to be one well dressed Mickey loving family on our wish trip!

Hello! I just wanted to drop in and share with you that WE will be at GKTW and visiting the Disney parks when you will be there. I *think* we arrive October 12.

My 4 year old son, Joey, has psuedoarthrosis too.

Thank you so much for posting! That is awesome that you will be down there around the same time. Have you started a pre-trip report yet? I would love to follow yours if you do.
Also, if you are on FB and interested in connecting with others with pseudoarthrosis (with NF and without) look up the congenital pseudoarthrosis support page. Great group of people on there! So how is your son doing with the pseudoarthrosis? This last surgery for Brendan was intensive, but I think he is doing so well. He just walked out of the house without his walker for the first time in one year! I am so so happy!

Just checking in....not too much here happening on the Disney front. It has been one week since Brendan go his cast off and for the first time in over a year, he walked out of the house without his walker. I am so pleased! We are trying to fit a bunch of fun in before school starts and once the kids are back, I will start planning out big trip! I can't wait!!!

Joey has had it pretty rough. His tibia and fibula broke when he was 6 months old. We had a big surgery at 13 months old. They took bone from his hip to put in his tib and fib and used BMP. They used a Williams Rod in both his tib and fib. He was put in a spica cast for 12 weeks. He was put in a long leg brace afterwards. He didn't walk on his own until he was 2 years old. He was doing fine until October of 2010. He just started complaining of pain. Lots of x-rays and exams showed that he has valgus of the ankle and knee. We had a staple put in the ankle and an 8plate in the knee. His leg broke in January. We had a surgery in March to pull out the old rod, put in a new rod, more bone graphing, more BMP 8 weeks in a spica cast, 4 weeks in a long leg cast and now he is in a long leg brace that also goes around his hips (HKAFO) He currently walks with the knee joints locked........but has recently been allowed to unlock the joints but his muscles are so weak that he can't walk without the support soooo physical therapy is working on it.

I think it would be nice to meet up while we are there.

I tried to leave a link to my blog but this forum won't let me post a link until I've made 10 posts here on the thread or something. So, if you want to read up on us and see photos so you can recognize us........Google search Just Another Blog Rebecca. That might get you there. When I did it, my blog was the first one that came. landlock-mo.blogspot **dot** com might help......There are loads of photos so you should be able to recognize us. I was wrong on the date....we come HOME on Oct 12. We leave the house on Oct 6.

Gosh, I can't believe you guys leave in only FIVE days. Does it feel real yet? hehe. Hope you guys have a blast. My daughter is 7 and we did BBB and CRT, it was THE HIGHLIGHT of our trip. The boys went their way and we girls went ours (my mom and dad went with us). Just a warning, and hopefully won't be an issue for you, but our wait at BBB was an HOUR! I had booked CRT for an hour after BBB and we had to bump or ressie for CRT for a little bit because we ran over so much at BBB. If I had it to do over again, I would plan 2 days for MK (which looks like you do) because we missed a lot due to those two events. We did catch all the major parades and fireworks tho, and just gives me an excuse to plan another trip in a couple of years.

Thank you for the post! Unfortunately, I was unable to get into BBB, but I am hoping to take Kaitlyn to the La Di Da spa at GKTW before we go. If not then I have all kinds of stuff I am bring with me to make her feel pretty since she LOVES stuff like that! Also, I heard that Disney does some great things for birthday kids at dinner so I am now on the search for a dinner reservation on dd's birthday. I cannot believe I am down to 2 days. Almost packed. Have my MILs 65th birthday tonight and am hoping to be finished packing an just relax with the kids and maybe watch a Harry Potter movie before we go. This is so exciting!

Thank you! We plan on being in the village most of the day Sunday and then Monday we will come back early evening from the magic kingdom. .Maybe I will catch you then. Brendan's firweork wish day is Wednesday. We haven't decided if we will head out late that day or not.....
