Just got off the phone with costco/walt dieny travel. I have no idea which I ended up with because the phone looped me around SOOO many times! Anyway, I decided to go ahead and price our upgrade to concierge. Mind you I have made no less than 7-8 phone calls planning this trip. It is my BIG IMPORTANT one!! I was told several times that I could upgrade later to concierge, in fact it was recommended to me to wait to pay off my total until "maybe" specials" came out on late August and September....and my entire package would be cheaper and concierge at that point would be as well. Apperantly they were wrong!!! I cannot upgrade now or when I get there due to Costco not having a contract for concierge. NOT ONE word of this in any phone call I have made to make payments or to ask questions. I would not have booked thru Costco...not a huge deal for me one way or the orther. Just a complete pain being misinformed OVER and OVER! My option is to rebook they can do a refund.....and it may take 2 billing cycles to credit my account! UMMM paid with my debit card in April!. I don't really want to wait 2 cycles and pay out more!! I am sooo discourages with WDT right now! With the mess with ticket prices in June, and all of this I am soo tempted just to say forget it and cancel! It breaks my heart that this is something that it usually a high point for me to arrange and plan!!
 
They say 2 billing cycles for a refund to cover their hind-ends but it's only a few days from my past experience with Disney and Costco.
 
I agree. Try calling again and see if you can get someone else that is a little nicer and more helpful. I have had to talk to someone in customer service before to help me with a costco issue. They seem to be able to do more then a standard CM that books for costco.

I would cancel and rebook through WDT. Granted you will miss out on the gift card and character meals you get with Costco. So out of curiousity, why are you upgrading to Consierge? It is nice if they surprise you with the upgrade but IMO, the money isn't worth it. You can eat breakfast cold cereal and milk in your room or pick up something in the park for WAY less then consierge. I have looked into consierge each time we have went and just couldn't see spending that kind of money so I would love to hear your opinion on it.

In my experience it has taken less than a week every time I've had to get a refund.

Try asking for the cast member's lead (supervisor) - sometimes they can work "miracles".
