I am a 34 year old mother of three. I am a barely 32A, probably more like a 32AAA. I have always been happy with my body. But now after nursing three kids and delivering three kids, my hips are bigger and my ****s are smaller.

I am thinking about getting a breast augmentation. I would like to be a full B or VERY small C. I am 5'5", 114 pounds.

Anybody have any tips, advice, etc?

I would appreciate any input....

I will gladly donate my excess ****age to you! :)

Seriously though, good luck! After 2 kids, 1 c-section and nursing for a total of 2 years my body has seen better days. My belly is GROSS and going nowhere fast... I'd love to have an abdominoplasty, breast reduction and lift! I'd have to hit the lotto first, so dream about it I do.

:)

I am a 30 yr old who recently went through this procedure. I will send u a PM with specific information. There are some great sites out there that will give you more information than you can even ask for. Good luck to you.

My friend had it done about a year ago. Then she had to go in and have another surgery done because of complications. No thanks. I'll stick with my A cups.

My wife had hers done 7 years ago. Still holding up well. However, this is one area you don't want to budget shop for.

I suggest you do whatever is going to make you feel the best about the way you look. A positive self image is an important thing!

Before you invest in the real thing, might I suggest a trial run using a product like Bust Free:

http://www.bustfreeusa.com/

It's a product suitable for use by those that have undergone a masectomy. You don't have to use it as a bra replacement, you can use it to fill in your bra in the sizes that you are thinking about. Try them out to see if the different sillouette makes a difference in the way you feel about your body.

My mother went through some issues with this and had to have hers removed. They were from a different era though, so things have probably improved in the products.

I understand being unhappy about changes in your body shape post childbearing. I went the opposite direction, becoming permanently bigger on the top. It's very annoying, hot, and creates new issues with clothing that I never had to deal with before. The grass is always greener, because I wouldn't mind at all losing what I got. But I avoid doctors at all costs so surgery is definitely not an option for me.

I bought them, and I love them. Like a PP said, don't "bargain" shop, find a good surgeon with good references. My total cost was just under $5000, but I work for the hospital where I had them done and got and "employee discount." It was a same day procedure. (I also had a lift) I was pretty sore for the 1st 2 days, then just uncomfortable for a few days after that. I had no complications, and minimal scarring. ...and they are very perky...even without the bra! I'm a 34DD now, but I am much taller than you. Mine are natural looking, not round. Also, don't get stuck on a cup size, allow the surgeon to decide what would be proportionate for your body type. It may be smaller or larger than you think. That is why a good surgeon is a must! I don't regret it in the least.

....and no...there will be no "before and after" pics. ;)

There are some excellent sites that have tons of professional information as well as forums where those who are planning or have proceeded with breast surgery can chat about questions, problems, issues. I just PM'ed you a website that I can personally speak for as being VERY valuable.

As others have mentioned, if you decide to have the surgery, don't budget shop - my best advice would be to find a certified plastic surgeon, visit the office, discuss your situation with the doctor who will be able to give you an idea of what she/he sees as the end result & they should also be able to show you before and after photos from previous patients. (Not all patients consent to allowing their photos to be shown, but many do). Before you make your final decision on which surgeon to go with - check with the state on status of any complaints against the surgeon.

Best of luck in however you decide to proceed.

It is a shame that people can't just be happy with the body God gave them..

For the OP, I am sure your husband loves, no matter what your cup size is.

Google up Shape of a Mother... I won't link it because it shows REAL women after they have been blessed with children and that might offend folks :sad1:

The average lifespan for breast prostheses are roughly 10-15 years. Some earlier, some later which is an additional cost to you. I'm a recovery room nurse where we do a fair amount of these for simple cosmetic desires, implant exchanges, and post-mastectomy reconstructions. According to one of our surgeons, the number one non-compliance issue is the massage and displacement of the implants after surgery. It hurts!! Your surgeon will instruct you on this and when to begin. As far as size, he takes into consideration the patient's desire but always tells her that he will put in what looks appropriate. At the conclusion of the surgery, they sit the OR table up and the team decides if it's a good fit. He can add more/take away depending on the look before he closes the incisions. Ask your surgeon about rib blocks which will help SO much with post-op pain. Mostly, it feels like an elephant sitting on your chest. Good luck in your decision-making.

Agree with others here. As tempting as it is, don't budget shop on this one!

You can also ask to see a portfolio of your surgeons work, if they have any available. Many surgeons do, so you can see what their work looks like, how careful they are with stitches..etc. Even with the same surgeries, not everyone will look the same by different surgeons! Once you find the one you think you are going for, google them just to be sure.

Best of luck to you! :goodvibes

Why do people always think this is about a man? The Op never once mentioned her husband or partner or significant other or anyone else. ...and according to the OP "god" did not give her that body...her 3 kids did! :rotfl2:
...any way...OP, to mirror a PP's suggestions...make sure your surgeon is a board certified PLASTIC surgeon. NOT cosmetic surgeon. Anyone certified in surgery can learn to do certain procedures and call themselves a cosmetic surgeon, a plastic surgeon is someone who is trained and specialized in plastic surgery.

If anyone in Texas is looking for a plastic surgeon, let me know. I had surgery with a really good guy. Not cheap, but worth it!
Just PM me. My neighbor used him also~and loves him.

What's really a shame is that people can not ask questions without being judged! I would really love to get mine done and probably will at some point in the future. I have a good friends who has had hers for 9 years and is still very happy with the results.

If getting them done will make you feel better about yourself and you have the financial means, then go for it!

I am considering it too, after our 4th and final baby....although DH thinks the 3rd was the final baby;)
Mine have def shrunk after breastfeeding. Such a bummer since I didn't have much to start with. Now they are just pathetic.:headache:
Thanks for posting this thread. I am getting good info here as well.:thumbsup2

I'm another one that says go for it if you are the one that wants it. Research your doctor and go to a good one with a good track record. I know someone who did this and is very happy with the results. I have to agree, she looks great and it has just made her a bit more confident. Don't over do it. :thumbsup2

I had it done in my 20s and was happy with it til I gained weight and one ruptured. Right now is not the best time to have the surgery due to money and the fact I am still overweight and will need a lift as well. I currently smoke (save the lectures) and would have to stop in order to have the surgery done. I am hoping next summer I will have the weight off and the money to get them redone. The new incisions will NOT be pretty and recovery time for me the first go around was awful. Knowing what I know down the line I am not sure I would do it again??

A new car cost more $ & doesn't last as long as implants. Have it done, it's worth the money!
