Breaking NEWS PHOTO SESSIONS!!!!!! :-)

I have a quick question regarding everyone's experience with their Photo Sessions... if you have an appointment at 10AM, how good are the CMs at actually starting your session at that time? Is there only one CM per location or multiple CMs to ensure that you actually start on time? With two little ones we are just trying to figure out what to expect in regards to wait time!

Thanks!

When we did the one at the GF in December, there were several photographers, so that it seemed the appointment might of been staggered a little (so you weren't all at the same spot, waiting to be photographed). We only waited a few minutes for our photographer. HTH.

We'll be traveling to WDW in OCtober and I'm trying to figure out which resort to book for our photo session. Are there any resorts that put out any halloween decorations, or fall decorations?

Just got off the phone:

WHEN CAN I BOOK MY SESSION?
30 days prior to your arrival. If you are arriving 9-30-08, you can book 8-31-08. It does NOT have to be 30 days prior to your "session", just within a 30 day window of arriving.

Hope that helps some of you.

I called this morning which is my 30 day mark for my vacation to begin and was told that I had to wait for 30 days from the date of the session that I want. :confused3

Well, that's frustrating! I wonder which it is? We want to schedule ours on Christmas Eve at the GF before we go to dinner, and I'm worried it might be tough to get an appt. for that time. I want to book it as soon as I possibly can.

Anyone know if you can book at 30 days from arrival or is it 30 days from your session?

It is 30 days from the date of the session so when we went in April - I booked for April 9 on March 10 because of 31 days in March.

CM told me all resorts are booking for all of September right now. Once day 1 of a month is open, they book for the entire month. You can't book October yet, as Sept. 1 isn't here.

I want to book for September, but I want September 11th (probably) so I dont' want to call and be told no, got to call back August 11th. :confused3

Just called again based on the last few posts and was told again that I had to wait until 30 days from the date of the actual session, not from the beginning of my trip.

pj - Give it a go. The worst they will say is that you will have to wait for a few more days to schedule.

I can't believe that no one has posted pictures from the Beach Club yet!!??:confused3 Come on fellow Disers! I know someone has to have some somewhere!!! :flower3:

Just booked for WL at 9am on the 8th of Sept! I am so excited. That is our home resort for DVC so it's really special for us.

I am anxious to see BC photos as that is my second favourite place.

So what do you guys think would be better an morning session or evening session? I am thinking of either doing it right about breakfast or right before dinner. I am leaning towards the morning because it will still be kinda cool and our hair and clothes will still be kinda clean (after eating yeah, right LOL).

What I am worried about is the squinting in the pictures.

I Booked for 9am since we have a 2 year old and I want him to be in peak form. Also you're not all sweaty etc as you might be mid day.

Ok. Hubbie and i did BC session. We were inside and out. We just ordered our CD as we were part of a group. When my CD arrives I'll post some pics of BC photo shoot.

I'm going on a grand gathering in December. I want to do the photo session at the Poly before our dinner at O'hana's. How long will it take? We have four familys and want group and seperate pics. Also, will it be one price for all of us to split?
TIA!

You get 30mins. I have heard if the groups are too big they suggest purchasing 2 sittings. We got about 50 shots but I can't imagine assembling 4 families in 30 mins and getting anywhere near that amount of shots. I would suggest everybody chipping in and doing at least 2 sessions back to back.

any news on AKL yet?!

I tried to book AKL but they said that they photo sessions will not begin here until the middle of September (we are two weeks too early). I asked if there was a slight possibility that they would begin booking earlier and they said to try back at the end of the month.

Thanks for the reply. I will plan on doing at least two sessions and ask them when I call if they recommend more. We have 15 people in our group! :grouphug:
