Well the suitcases are all packed. I need to let the damn drapery guy in at 1st St and then buy batteries for the third scooter. Then it's a matter of packing the cooler, toaster oven, computer and I think we're on our way. As soon as the drapery guy finishes.

I would have said safe travels.....but I did read further along. At l(e)ast you're all packed!

Well we are back at home going to try again in the morning. It just got stupid late, Fran and I had a fight and she said she wouldn't go. We ended up going for dinner and I think she was just hungry and cranky.

Let's hope some sleep improves her disposition.

What was odd, is I posted a bunch with picture on that thread months ago. Then I went back after PIO got her . Posted about 7 times and wham bam thank you TF.

Hey! I've been on that thread pretty much from the start! Its taken me about 150 pages to get tagged.
I think the trick is to be within a page or two back when the taggers come to check the posters.
Though it seems like the Tag Fairies are visiting pretty regularly now....maybe the Christmas angle is softening them up....like butter!

LAST night, I stayed in the c(h)ity to catch the decorations. Came home with over 280 pictures in the course of 2 - 3 hours. Gonna take a look at them....and might post on that sadly neglected Hong Kong PTR of mine!

Been thinking I need to do an OT December/Christmas post with some of the activities and food that I've been doing. So, fair warning to those of you that have lived through those pics already.

So (*&^$# BUSY! It really wasn't meant to be this hard this week...seriously stressed and I've put my lower back out. Taken some paracetamol to help the pain.

Thank god I had booked in a massage and a chiro adjustment for tomorrow!

And on top of everything else...my mother told me that she's having not one but 3 more guests for Christmas Eve dinner. Not that I'm surprised...she normally pulls something like this around this time. So, I had two spare gifts. I'm one short!!!!!

More shopping tomorrow. I'm going to resort to a box of chocolates for this extra guest; unless inspiration strikes me whilst I am sleeping.

One of the extra guests is bringing a child....a 8 year old girl. Would you believe that I even had a spare gift for her??? I had no idea that I had picked up a girl gift sometime during the year and had wondered what possessed me when I was looking though the present cupboard in November. Now I know!

You need to rest your back I will trade you family issues, ours is strange. Or if you dont want to do chocolate do a candle. Dont stress over christmas day stuff just enjoy it. I will think of you on christmas day!

Christmas day is the cakewalk for me. It's just us and my parents for lunch. My DB and his GF have decided to come for desserts...again unexpected...but I've got that covered. Just need to go shopping for the food.


Christmas Eve...which will be your Friday....think of me then. I don't even want to know how many adults we're up to for dinner then. I suspect we're up to about 25 adults and 9 or 10 kids??

Chrismas comes once a year....shortly followed by Chinese New Year. CNY is 23 Jan this year. It's probably bigger than Christmas for my parents. I'm planning on making jam to give away.

Earlier today when I went to post a message came up from the mods saying they are in the process of changing over the servers for the next 10 days. Did you see that?

No. I missed that message. So, cutover is over Christmas? Wonder what that means for last....maybe it may be that the mods are on alert to close right on page 250.
