if you follow the links there is a page that shows all the rooms in the apartment. The kitchen looks real nice, the contractor did a great job, the same one who did 1st street. However he did a better job overall on that apartment than 1st Street.

DS had no more heart palpitations yesterday and says he is feeling better. He can't really go to a doctor until we hear about having insurance (unless there is an emergency of course).

As my mom says, "Your children always stay your babies even when they're grown up" and DS who is our one and only is worrying me now as much as he did when he was little!

skiingfast - The place looks nice! Do rentals rent quickly in your area?

franandaj - Contractors can be such a pain in the rump! Before my brother left his printing career to do remodeling, we had work done by contractors in the house and they botched our plumbing badly. I think that's why we waited so long to do the major remodeling this year.

Good morning, I am glad your son is doing much better. You always worry about your children. My two plus the one I babysit ( doggies ) all climed on top of me in bed and left me with the edge. Did you mean this for me or Alison who has her place for rent?

In my area seasonality has a lot to do with this. Places can be available for 2 or 3 months commonly when demand is down. And under a month when it's up.

Though some people rent houses for several thousand a month up to a few ten thousands and you can see them listing it for a year or two.

I just do it when it feels like a good time. This time is more prementive than anything else. Usually I wait until it's deeper.
