I am so sorry. Hope the treatment helps.

Wow, sounds like quite a ruckus. We've had cats for almost 40 years and been through some rough treatments too. I used to think the anal gland stuff was the worst :worship:

Refill your coffee cups all.....:surfweb:

I mentioned over in the bump thread that stuff is going on at my house; sort of bringing down the excitement of going to WDW right now.

I haven't talked much about DS (25) yet who is unemployed. He was downsized almost two years ago from the same company I temp for and hasn't been able to find work since then. He managed to save almost everything he earned while working though and along with living with us, he has covered his car costs, insurance, phone and social stuff. Then this past summer he totaled his car and while the house was being remodeled there wasn't room to park a replacement anyway so that saved him some money thank goodness.

I say thank goodness because it's been hard to get health insurance for him for the past six months. In retrospect, we should have bit the bullet and added him to DH's retirement plan and pushed our policy costs way up but that is crazy talk now.

He was under state health coverage for awhile but that ran out and he sent in a form Monday of this week for a renewal of some kind.

Well, yesterday, Wednesday, he asked DH to take him to an emergency clinic because he could feel his heart beating irregularly.

They did an EKG and found arrhythmia (sp?) but his BP and other heart functions seem okay.

DH paid for the clinic costs but now we are double worried: worried most of all about his heart and worried that he now has this "pre-existing condition" which will make him hard to insure or at best expensive to insure with no job.

He's a quiet person to begin with and he keeps everything inside. DH and he are very close so DH didn't even tell me what had happened until I got home after 8:00 last night. I spent time trying to cheer him up and sitting with him but he is down and worried too!

He originally told DH that wasn't going to go to WDW but I told him that he could certainly go and not ride at all if he didn't want to; just hang with DH who will be on an ECV for the whole trip (for the first time). He said he will think about this....

I think the trip will cheer him up and all of us as well. Hopefully, we'll hear something from the insurance people as well, maybe.

On top of all this, I have a migraine :headache:

I know other people have bigger things to worry about than this, so thanks for listening everyone. :upsidedow

KImall, I am so sorry. I will keep your son in prayer. As long as the doctors feel there is no cause for alarm that is good news. I hope you all goand enjoy yourselves. Worrying doesnt solve anything. It just causes more stress. Its ok to vent sometimes that helps alot. So dont bottle it up inside, even if you dont vent on here because that could be an issue in some ways as well. Find someone to talk to. Your son will get a job. I hope you have a great day.

Kathy - I hope your DS and DH feel better. I don't know much about arrhythmia; but I do know that it can be minor is some people and life threatening in others. Do you know if the doctors considered it on the 'minor' end of the scale or is it serious?

We're here if you need to vent....but in the meantime, I hope your health insurance people provide a speedy and satisfactory response.

It is good afternoon, I have been trying to pick up the house. What a disaster. I dont know how two people can get a house this bad. One room at a time. UGH!

How is your day? How is Fran? How is Sunny?

Kathy, I'm glad DS was able tell DH and get checked out. I hope it turns out better.

Hi Unsuz, hi Alison!

How is your day? How is Fran? How is Sunny?

I am sitting here at 1st Street, turn out we are screwed on the draperies. Th contractor took all the rods off the wall and they threw away the bracket. Now the guy has to make us all new rods. :scared1: $$$$'s

Sunny wouldn't stay on my lap for her vaporizer.

Fran is going to her RA Dr. for a cortisone shot.

Sounds like a busy day. Mine was quite slow.

There's not much we can do. I didn't even know about the rods needing to stay up there, because she did all the dealings with the drapery company. If I had known the rods needed to stay up, I would have put it in the contract.

Alison it looks great. I'm happy you have it ready and for rent now.

I shoveled part of the roof. Most is metal and the snow slides off, but in a couple problem areas it doesn't.
