I know!

I don't know how you do it! I go crazy eating the same things. One nice thing about Fran being down for the count is that I don't have to figure out which drive thru to go to. I get so so so sick of eating fast food drive thru, but so often we need to grab something on the way. I would be so happy to mix it up with Yoshinoya, Panda Express, an Indian Fast food place, or even El Pollo Loco, but for her it's pretty much McDonald's, Carl's Jr., Burger King or if we are in the neighborhood, I'll suggest an Arby's to mix it up. Occasionally she likes Taco Bell and Del Taco, but it's pretty difficult trying to get a mix of food when she doesn't really want any place that doesn't have a drive thru.

I miss yoshinoya
It was here briefly. But didn't take off. They picked very poor locations but they we tied in with sites spare connected to Gloria jeans (a coffee chain) as they were the franchisees in Oz.

Of course there are loads os Japanese takeaway here. But I liked their chicken bowl.
I have mixed memories of them in hong kong. I fell down their stairs ..... Twice .... Hurting my tail bone
But the food was very nice

Going out for Korean BBQ tonight....on the company......not that they know yet

I don't think Yoshiyona's was in Melbourne....but as you say....loads of Japanese take-away places around.

My working arrangements just firmed up. I'm definitely starting next Tuesday; at this stage it's a 6 month contract...but the client and I chatted and he's hoping that I'll stay at least 12 - 24 months. We'll see how it goes.

Yes. This client and I have a very good bond and we work well together. I've lived through the birth of his first child, his second child, and buying/selling homes. We've kept in contact even when I left and try to catch up at least once a month or every six weeks.

I miss Dana...but I'm glad she's with Mike and working (even if she wants to change jobs).

I still think between you, me, Skiingfast, franandaj and Queenie...we're still doing a good job pushing this thread along.

Besides, I like the balance of "silliness" and seriousness that we have on this thread.
