Breaking ABD news....well....breaking taunt

Kevin, I booked. I booked before you taunted. My sister Bonnie doesnt even listen to the podcast or a member on the Dis ( yet) and I got her to go just because of me tellling her about it.
You can tell her, really. :littleangel: She wont tell.. well she might tell me. But I swear I wont tell anyone.

I cant stress this enough.

You might never have this opportunity again.

I am sure it will be a fabulous trip.

But, is it really the only opportunity? :confused3

Won't Dreams be doing more ABD trips to California in the future? :confused3
Won't there be more, but maybe different ways of plussing the trip? :confused3

John that was mean! :) I'm up now so you can go ahead with the big news.:banana:

Sadly I won't be able to convince my DH to do this and my kids are too young anyway. So we'll miss this "once in a lifetime" experience but I'm sure there will be other "once in a lifetime" experiences in our future.
I am working on my DH for the London/Paris trip (sans children, of course). I have to focus my manipulation on what's most important! :rotfl2:

Amanda

Yeah I had the same experience. Why is it so much more for singles?

The single rate is higher because the hotel cost is paid by one person rather than shared by two.

I have too much else on my travel plate for 2011, so I'll have to stop reading these threads!

Did you see Tim Gunn on I Get That a Lot behind the counter at a hot dog place here in NJ? Classic. =)

(If you didn't, here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDEkq2pfxIg)

That's awesome...

BTW, the Tim Gunn impression was after he sat at our piano and sang a modified version of "It's a Small World" to our cat, called "She's a Kitty After All", as our cat and listened.

Hi Susan! I am really considering doing the April trip, especially after looking at this thread. I am also a teacher, a single female, and looking for a roomate! I sent you a PM.

I am beyond excited! Messaged you back! Really hoping this can work out!!! Makes me not being there now feel not-so-bad!!!!! :) :cool1:

Does anyone remember which podcast it was that explained in detail each day of the ABD trip? I'd like to listen to that again...

I'm sorry that this has confused you.

There quite possibly will be other Backstage Magic Adventures in the future that include the Dis. No one said this will be your last chance to experience Backstage Magic.

There are many ways to "plus" a trip. This particular experience may never be available again.

I certainly hope this clears up all of your confusion about what was said.

Holy crap, Kevin! I thought I was immune to your taunting! :lmao:

But we're friends, right? tight? Here, let me clean out my inbox and you can send me a little note....

For those of you on the fence - jump off!

Seriously.

It is WORTH THE MONEY.

I have a little Photo montage of the first trip HERE

Cyrstal clear!

I would definitely be interested in an ABD Backstage Magic trip. I have no idea about the ways to "plus" a trip. But I do know enough that I would only want to take the trip with the DIS.

I also know that in addition to money concerns, there is also work.
I get three weeks vacation per year and I am taking two weeks off in December. And Disney is not my only passion. So 2011 is probably too early to do another Disney vacation.

For those who can swing it (wish it could be me!), have a great time!

Waiting for the head exploding news!
John has figured out if we were to take the boys the cost would be very high! So I will have to see what my chances are of getting the sitter to come back again! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm really glad I had not taken a sip of Diet Dr. Pepper when I read this.

I've done the trip before without any of the podcast special side bonuses. I can't imagine what would make me re-book this tour again instead of going to London/Paris.

Yeah what Lori said. She & I were on the same ABD & it was awesome just the basic experience. I can't wait to hear what the head exploding addition is.....but I am also afraid it is going to really make me want to go again. What can it be?????????????????????

Well this screws things up I had a trip plan for the D23 expo next year and Disney World's 40th.I have always wanted to do this trip and do something with the DIS .I would love to meet some of you guys .But John and Kevin are making choices a bit hard right now.If i did this I would go at it alone and need to room with somebody. Not sure how that works out?

What a brilliant thread. Will be tuning in tomorrow to see heads exploding :goodvibes

I've been hypothetically budgeting in my head so I could do it. Flights alone would cost almost £2000! If only...:headache:

But one day, I will make this trip!
