I'll be making our ADR tomorrow and me and my fiancé are looking for a nice place for breakfast one morning. We will be on the dining plan and we dont want to use more than 1 table service credit as well. Let your opinions fly :)

Not sure when you are visiting but if holiday decor will be up then I strongly vote for cape may cafe at the beach club. You can enjoy a nice character bfast and then take a nice stroll to Epcot or Hollywood studios. The buffet has a lot to offer plus the beach club and surrounding area is worth checking out.

A couple questions to help narrow it down. In park or not? Characters?

My favorite breakfast is Ohana. I love family style because its like a buffet for lazy people lol. You don't even have to get out of your seat! Some people don't like character breakfasts because of the crowds but if you're ok with that I'd recommend it.

I would highly recommend Boma. This is my favorite breakfast location. Lots of the typical American breakfast food items, but there are also a few African-influenced items. Before or after eating, you can look around the resort and check out the animals.

For a table service venues (non-buffet), I really like Kona. The macadamia nut pancakes are really good and the Big Kahuna is good and very big. While I like Kona, most not a very good use of a dining credit. I would consider going here, but paying out of pocket and save the credit for a 2TS location or for a lunch/dinner meal.

I second 'Ohana. I also liked Kona Cafe on our last trip, but it's not the best use of a credit on the dining plan (unless it's free and then go for it!) We want to try Boma for breakfast on our next trip!

Crystal Palace...sounds like you have no kids..

some of the best breakfast food....some of the most relaxed atmosphere....enough characters but no overkill....great view and walking down main street before the park officially opens can be great...

Here are some 1 credit breakfast options (including an assortment of Made to Order, Buffet and Character Meals):

Kona
Boma
Crystal Palace (Pooh's Puffed French Toast :cloud9:)
Donald's Safari Breakfast @ Tusker House
The Wave

Either way park or resort :) and we are there 11/9-11/16 keep the opinions coming I'm here all night lol (work third shift)

Grand Floridian Cafe. They have great Eggs Benedict.

Not sure if you want character, buffet or sit down...

for character I think Crystal Palace and Cape May - Cape May is a bit quieter - Crystal palace is bigger and busier, but the food is very good.

For something different and sit down I HIGHLY recomment Kouzzina at Boardwalk. It has wonderful and different choices for breakfast - a bit away from the ordinary and very tasty. Truly an adult breakfast...

Cinderllas castle I think is a definate rip off for 2 credits - especailly if you don't have children who are in love with the princesses. For the food you get it's not worth the price or credits.

Our favorite breakfast is Cape May at the BC, followed closely by Ohana at the Poly :goodvibes.

but Olivia's at Old Key West has one of the best table service breakfasts on property.

For a buffet I'd recommend Trails End at Fort Wilderness :)

Where are you staying? Convenience factors in my answer! While I love Boma, it can be hard to get to. GFC is a pretty place. We ate at Kouzzina in March and enjoyed it! Ask for Hollie. She is awesome!

Breakfast is not the best value on the DDP. You need to "spend" about $35 per TS credit to even break even. All other breakfast buffets are in the $25 or less range.

The only two breakfasts at that point are Akershus (with princesses) and Chef Mickey (the fab five)

If you decide to do an a la carte breakfast, I'd go OOP. You lose your dessert on the DDP, so all you get is your entrée and drink. No way you'll even come close to that $35.

Tusker house!!! Love it!!! It's a different type of breakfast but has traditional favs. Plus AK is beautiful in the morn with no one in the park. Also may be a good late breakfast choice. Park for a few hrs then break for a brunch. It's a character so you see Donald, Mickey, Goofy, and (saving the best for last!!) Daisy!!! Love Daisy! Lol. Somehow they have these cheese blintz with strawberry sauce that I missed but I shall solve that come Sept!! This is also the only breakfast my DH requested again. To give you an idea he only wanted ohana, cape may, and this. We ended up not getting cape may :-( but he is still happy with this!

Check some menus out at Allears.net and the food porn threads out here on the dis. That nigh help!

We like Kona, decent variety of food choices plus french pressed coffee and real bacon. It's a single credit, sit down not buffet but not overly long and drawn out like a character meal. It's in the poly so the views are great and it's a few steps away from the monorail which you can't beat if you're headed to the mk or epcot.

What fun to dream of all the places to eat at for breakfast! While Chef Mickey is loud & crazy, it is fun to see the fab five and do some napkin twirling. Plus there's lots of food variety -- including the famous Mickey waffles! It's a fun way to see the traditional characters & get some photos with them & your fiancé. We are doing Tusker House this next trip & I think that sounds great too. Let us know what you decide!
