Okay, this may be an obvious issue but I need some clarification. I was reading over the menu for breakfast at Pop, what on there would be our snack credit and what would be considered our QS for the day? Are the platters the QS and things like muffins or cinnamon rolls a snack??

The platters, eggs + meat + bread are CS meals and I've read that they're big enough to share. What I found on the list from 2008's list from POP that can be a snack credit for bkft but not sure if confirmed for 2009 yet are:

fruit & yogurt parfait
cinnamon roll
chocolate croissant
fresh fruit bowl
yogurt
bowl of grapes
muffin
box of cereal & milk (read that they may be ea be a snack in 2009)
16 oz orange juice
apple, orange or banana
2 hard-boiled eggs

We intend to make good use of our free dining plan, lol!

That is what I thought, thanks a million, that helps out a lot!! I will find out for myself in 3 short days, WHOO HOO!!!!! :cool1:

POP has a great cinnamon roll or a blueberry muffin that we uaually get for breakfast.
On return from the parks at night try POP's icecream sundae that ws great.

YUPPERS :)

The Sundae is a GREAT snack option hehehe. We were just there a few weeks ago and it looked like the fruit and yogurt parfait was no longer a snack option...but all of the others listed ARE. We got quite a few fruit bowls and combined those with some tasty treats that we would get on our way our of MK or Epcot....they made great breakfasts that we could eat in the room before heading to the busses....the other thing we did was split a couple of the hot breakfast platters and use our mugs for drinks. We would take the *2* drinks that you get for each CS breakfast and pack those to use in the park.

OT: Beroh...I MUST ask you where "roughly" your located in NEPA? There are not THAT many of us on here :)

ofhs93, since you just returned from POP....What building were you in and what did you like or dislike about POP? Would you return?

I would also like to know which building you were in and if you would recommend that one? We have been to Pop twice already and just love it!

I want to know too about the building as we will be staying there in August:)

Don't forget you can always use a snack credit in a park on something breakfasty looking too. Just get it and bring it back to hotel for the next day.

:)

We stayed in building #3. That is the one with Tramp sitting outside. We were in room #3231. It was pretty much where I had wanted to be. It is on the water side of the building facing the general direction of Epcot. We could just about see the fireworks from Illuminations. (rooms further down COULD see them from their windows...3233 to the end of the building. I liked the location. I have to go now but if anyone has any more questions let me know. I can't say I "disliked" anything about Pop really. It was pretty much exactly what I expected...the food court was probably actually better than what I expected it to be.

How do you guys know all the options at different places? Do you have them memorized, do you print out a list, or do you just wander in and look at the menu? Newbie here to DP... I am not an organized person, nor do I have a good memory, so I would just hope that most places are acceptable, so I can wander into a place of my choice and..well, choose!

I printed out lists for our resort and each park....but almost all snack options have a little DP next to them at each location as well.

That is our favorite area, the bowling pin pool and lady and the tramp, not too far from the food court.

We liked this area as well....not far from the main building...we had a nice view on the water side and I could be at the bowling pin pool within 1 minute from my room. I would say it was probably a 2 to 3 minute leisurely walk from the room to the food court.
