looking at doing Breakfast on 7/17 at Boma before heading to AK for the day (even got FOP fast passes- yay!) as out fastpasses don’t begin for the day until 1PM. Has anyone eaten here before for breakfast? My usual problem with disney breakfasts is its all the same scrambled eggs bacon and mickey waffles. What, if any, different offerings do they have that’s unique to AKL/african cuisine?

Thank you in advance!

The french toast bread pudding has a warm pecan sauce available-I dream about it. Excellent!

Best breakfast on WDW property - and we are not breakfast people for that's saying a lot! We typically don't eat breakfast but we ALWAYS make sure to do breakfast at Boma. I love it because it has so many different items. Yes, it has your typical breakfast fare but I don't eat those items - I go for the more unique stuff. I always say my only complaint about eating at Boma is that my stomach isn't big enough for everything I want to eat. I always get full before I'm done eating what I want!!

We had Boma for the first time last month for breakfast. We felt like it really has a nice variety to please your standard breakfast eaters and then they also had a traditional African dish, it's like a hash and I think there was an African fruit salad and maybe a dipping sauce but it's not overtly African themed. They had some sliced meats, the usual fare, pancakes, pastry items, bacon, POG, lots of fruit and cereal....and desserts. It's pretty good but not anything amazing like I had expected from so many reviews. I doubt we'd go back only because we're not big buffet eaters and we're not fans of having to line up to grab our food. It was really busy when we ate and we waited in line for a long time. The buffets always make me laugh, at the parks people move like jack rabbits to cut you to get in line but there's a food buffet and all the sudden nobody wants to look like a pig and they move like snails to scoop out eggs---MOVE PEOPLE, it's food, it won't bite you!! :) Reason right there why we don't like buffets, my patience runs thin and we just don't eat enough to justify the expense. Overall, I think it's more standard american breakfast than African but I think it would appeal as more diverse than say Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare.

Another thing I enjoy is the hot quinoa cereal with brown sugar on it. It's similar to oatmeal, but the texture's a little different.
