Breakfast without priority reservation

Hi DISers,
It looks like a missed my April window to book breakfast before Happy Entry. I've been stalking everyday. I'm staying at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel and don't have any special vacation package for this particular stay. I assume I need to be in line for Happy Entry by 7:30am (Sunday morning, early April).

If I can't get a reservation for 6:30-7:30am, have folks found success in waiting at the hotel restaurant for a breakfast no-show or morning-of cancellation? I understand that Japanese culture tends to observe rules more strictly. I wasn't sure if the DL hotel only seats those with a reservation. Thanks much!!

I can't speak for breakfast, but we (as non-guests) sought to have lunch at the Tokyo Disney Hotel. They were fully booked, but let us wait and see if there were any cancellations and then let us in.

I would presume they would do the same for breakfast, especially for a guest of the hotel.
