Breakfast with the Grinch

So I’m planning to do a day at universal in the beginning of December and would like to do breakfast with the grinch. Does anyone know if I’m an offsite guest can I still reserve a breakfast at 8am with a 9am park open time or do I have to have access to early entry then?

This is a Disney/universal trip and I wasn’t worried about the universal side until I saw that tickets for this were already on sale and December 20-22 were already sold out!

It is my understanding that this breakfast has no reserved seating time. You book a specific date, show up between 8-10 and wait in line. Not sue about off-site and EPA. We are looking at booking for December too.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but does anyone know how far in advance you can buy a ticket/make a reservation? We want to go on Wed 12/4/19. Any update on whether it's an actual reservation, or just a separate ticket?

I’m not sure when they will start to sell tickets. But as I recall, you have to buy tickets and then you have to make a reservation. Sort of a silly process. I bought mine for the week of Thanksgiving last year sometime in late September. I doubt you’ll have much of a problem getting tix/reservations for the Wed after Thanksgiving week. Crowds should be fairly light at that time.
