Hoping you could help me build a "Breakfast Menu" for my DD age 14, using our DDP snack credits. MY DH and I just do coffee early AM so we can throw some of our credits her way.
We'll bring grocery food to eat in the room but that gets uninspiring over 10 days - we'll rely on this mostly for drinks.

I have to confess that at home, I consider chocolate ice cream & sliced bananas in a waffle sandwich a perfectly healthy breakfast, in moderation.
 Hey - covers the grain/dairy/fruit food groups!
SO I'm OK with the donut + juice but would like to avoid that every day.

SO looking for breakfast type items/places with some healthy options too that would boost energy for theme park madness.
Here's what I found so far on DDP posts. Can you add to it?
Help w/ some items I am not familiar with? :confused3
MK
Main Street Bakery
:
Fruit Salad
various muffins or cinnamon roll
Apple Charlotte: what is this?
french toast loaf: and this?
Scuttles Landing or Lunching Pad:
Sweet Cream Cheese Pretzel - is this a stuffed pretzel?
Auntie Gravity's: Fruit Smoothies
Pinocchio Village Haus:Rice Crisp Treat
Frontierland carts:churros - how early do carts open?

EPCOT
Fountainview Cafe:Strawberry Smoothie
Germany/Sommerfest:Apple Strudel
Norway/Kringla: various pastries
Sunshine Seasons: Fruits, Fruit Tulips- what is this?

AK
Dino-bite Snacks:churros, yogurt - is this reg size or snack sz?
Harambe Fruit Market: various fruit
Tamu Tamu Cafe: Yogurt Smoothies
Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery: Assorted pastries, muffins
Safari 12: Frozen Orange juice bars

MGM
Min & Bill's Dockside:Cheese or Apple Cinnamon Stuffed Pretzel
Sunset Ranch Market: Grapes
Cart: Chocolate Covered Banana

I didn't see anything in DTD that was not dessert/candy type food but not likely we will be there early AM anyhow.

Regarding Resorts: We will be in AS or POP. I noticed on someone's list (maybe allears.net?), AS Music had "Cereal & Milk" but not the other 2 AS or POP? Can anyone confirm this is available in other value food courts? (the cereal & milk together as one credit?)
Thanks in advance! :)

I'll add to your MGM list - ABC Commissary. We got breakfast items there with our snack credits. They had milk, muffins, danishes, fruit, coffee etc. Plus they had breakfast platters that you could use CS credits for.

We used our snack credits for breakfast too. We were staying at the BWV so it made it easy with the BW Bakery right there! Actually I'm sure all the resort CS places have a variety of "breakfast" options with fruit, pastries, juice, milk etc. We were so fillled from our CS and TS credits it was the only way we could get our snack credits in.

We are thinking the same thing for our trip in December. We've not used the plan before, but last trip we didn't really buy many snacks - an ice cream in the MK and a funnel cake in Epcot for Illuminations, but that was it.

I would think that trying to use a snack redit for breakfast in the World Showcase at Epcot would be a bit problematic what with the WS not opening until 11am and that being a good bit past most people's breakfast times and almost lunch time instead... :confused3

One of the best tips I got befre I even planned my trip, was from a friend who had just returned from a 5 day WDW trip... that Pops food court has some awesome snack options such as a whole box of entemans donuts for ONE snack credit! I def plan to take advantage of that for an in room breakfast that will last a few days! We too plan on doing some snacks for breakfast and have heard of lots of small options like danish and fruits and things that you can get. The best resourse is the snack credit thread on these boards, i plan to print it before we go! hAVE A GREAT TRIP!

can you put the link for the snack credit thread on here? I can't seem to find it! thanks!

There's a snack sticky at the top of this board that will give you plenty of ideas for breakfast.

I think this is the same one in the sticky but here's the linie anyways.... happy snacking!

SNACKS!!

Great plan! We're doing the same thing. Bringing grocery items for breakfast in the room most days, but like the option of a quick snack to go, especially on days we have an early lunch ADR. :)

We stayed at POFQ and they offered yougurt, fruit plates, danish, bagels and cream cheese, etc. as snacks. We often had a very nice breakfast using only snack credits. I think you'll find it's very easy to do.

Great screen name! Our neighbor has this on his license plate in an abbreviated fashion!

(now back to the thread)
