We are trying to decide what to do with an extra table service credit, and are thinking about having breakfast at one of the restaurants at a monorail resort- our group would include 2 young children- thinking about Wave, Ohana, Kona, 1900 Park, etc. Looking for a nice breakfast but not one that takes a really long time- kids will be really looking forward to getting into the park! Thanks!

If you want quick, then skip the Character ones - I have not eaten at the Wave, but Kona Cafe is TO DIE FOR (tonga toast) - but, your kids might notice Lilo and Stitch across the hotel at O'Hanas

If you want quick, then i'd suggest 1900 PF or Kona. Although to be honest, Ohana is pretty wonderful too cause its such a gorgeous atmosphere and its nice to sit and wait for the food to come to you (all you can eat!). Plus they do a fun conga line thingy with the kids. The characters are great, and the food, omg to die for.

Although Kona (tonga toast) is HEAVENLY as well. As is the lilikoi juice & coffee pot.

1900 PF has great bacon (hard to find in disney!), plus it can be quick if you dont necessarily have to see all the characters.

If i had to choose, it would be a toss up between 1900 & Kona.

Tough decision you have. Good luck!

The resort Table service restaurants that we've eaten breakfast at are Ohana, 1900 Park Fare, Chef Mickey's, and Cape may Cafe.

I would second that. Tonga Toast is fantastic. Can't wait to try it again. :)

Thank you everyone! You guys are awesome! You have given me some great recommendations!

I would do the Wave. If you're in a hurry to get to the parks, it's buffet, (or a la carte, but I highly recommend the buffet,) so the meal is over as fast as you want. At any character meal you may get stuck sitting awhile waiting for the characters. I've left character meals before after finishing eating because I didn't feel it was worth the wait for the characters. And the food at the Wave is excellant, and is currently my favorite breakfast on property.

Go to Ohana or 1900 Park Fare. Both have great food and great character interaction. Ohana is family style, they bring the food to you, all you can eat! My mother wanted oatmeal, not on the menu, but they got it for her from Kona's. Skip the Wave.
