Breakfast / transportation question...Help!

We are staying at A.S. Movies and have a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's on 4/28 at 7:30am. That morning the park opens at 9am, no EMH that day. How will we be able to get to the Contemporary by 7:25 or so? The reservationist said something about asking if the Charactor bus was running, but she didn't sound too sure...like it dosen't run all the time.

How much would a cab cost? And, my son is only 4, so if we cab it, how would that work for a car seat?? I don't think it will, will it? Ugh!

The receptionists never know what they're talking. As Chip, the board's resident transportation guru and Disney bus driver, always says: "Only trust the guys in the purple pants!"

Buses start running at 7 am every day. Take the MK bus and make sure to tell the driver you're going to Chef Mickey's. He may even drop you off at the Contemporary.

There will be buses to the MK that early, they run for the breakfasts.
Once you get to the MK you can walk over to the Contemp, I think that the monorail would be running, if you do not want to walk you could then take the monorail from the MK.
I would say to get the bus for MK from the AS at least 45 minutes before you PS time.
I am not sure of the cost of a taxi, I would say $15 with the tip, none of the cabs we took in WDW had a car seat, that I recall.

I just found the thread from Chip (THANK YOU CHIP!) and see he said they start about 6:30am. And, as of yesterday, it's still accurate...excellent! Thanks!!!
