Breakfast?Tonga Toast Questions

Seems like it's a toss-up - half love TT, half hate it! I'm a TT Lover!!!

The difference between TT at Kona & TT at Captain Cooks is that the strawberry compote is only served with it at Kona.

It's pure Heaven to me!

The pineapple macadamia nut pancakes were awesome too!

I don't like the Tonga Toast - its incredibly greasy, and just made me feel sick all day!

BUT, we do go to Kona for our favourite breakfast - the macadamia nut pancakes - OMG!! They are lush!

I had my first TT in March and I am hooked. My DH had the Big Kahuna and DD had the omlet. EVERYTHING was soooo good. The pressed pot of coffee was fantastic with the TT. Some may not like it and that's ok, we're all different.

We ate at Ohana's last month and I HAD to try the Tonga Toast. We did have to pay extra for it and it was not worth it. We were there with my parents and between all six of us we couldn't finish it.... too sweet.

So you can order Tonga Toast at the Ohana breakfast?! Did it come with the strawberry compote?
That would be perfect for my family. DH wants to go back to Kona for TT with the strawberry sauce but I would rather take the kiddos to Ohana to see Mickey (without waiting in line!) Unfortunately he refuses to split up to go to different restaurants. Do you remember if you paid $10.99, more or less?
