Hi,
We are not going to the parks on our last day but were thinking of eating a nice breakfast. We've done the Kona Cafe, so we are looking for another suggestion. No kiddies, so it doesn't ahve to be a character breakfast. It could be, but we are looking for tasty food as the main ingredient. thanks!

Pick the Grand Floridian Cafe.
. . . good food
. . . usually not noisy
. . . seldom see kids running around
. . . light and bright atmosphere

Another vote for Boma! And then you guys can do a little exploring around AKL afterward...a sweet "goodbye" kiss.

I was actually just going to post a similar question. On one of my days I will be sending the boy off to do a Segway Tour. Since I am Segway challenged I wanted to treat myself to a nice quiet breakfast. I was looking at the Grand Floridian Café, anyone have their Eggs Benedict? If not the GFC any other non buffet places?

I have had Kona Cafe's version of Eggs Benedict, and it is very good. It's on smoked pork hash instead of Canadian bacon. And, I find the Polynesian to be a very soothing and peaceful place to be..."nice and quiet."

I do love the Kona, and yes its always been a nice relaxing place, problem is its kinda like "our" restaurant. He would pitch a fit if I told him I was going by myself, Segway or no Segway.

The Grand Floridian Cafe has the best eggs benedict ever, and the setting is very quiet and relaxing, watch the monorail come through (from the far back dining room)

Hmmm....these are all great suggestions!!! I'm going to check into them all and run them by the rest of the family. I'm not a huge buffet fan, but my sister is. I will be sad to skip Kona's this trip (we go every trip) but I wanted to try something new.

We really enjoy the Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast. Ate there twice on our last trip in May of '08. Very good breakfast...and REAL brewed coffee!

1. Boma OR the Poly - they are both great!
2. The buffet or non-buffet breakfast at the Yach Club is really good. Nice and quiet as there is a character breakfast next door at the Beach Club and the kids are all there!
