Breakfast reservations

I have made breakfast reservations at MK for 08:05 can you go onto rides/attractions once you finish your breakfast if thats before the park opens?

Attractions are only open after the park opens.

I believe ropes are still across to stop you leaving Main St. Not been in MK for rope drop for a few years, there used to be a rope across entry to each land.
I will no doubt find out in August with a 3 year old with us, lots of early mornings.

Personally I would spend the time with one of the photopass photographers, getting some pics in front of the castle with no-one else in the shot. It's probably the only chance you will get to do this, and you can always run for the rides once everyone else is allowed in

No but you can be first in line for rope drop.

Even with an 8.05 adr it will take a few mins to seat you and see all the characters - unlikely to be done much before 9. Make sure you ask for the check so you can pay and be off.

I can remember waiting under the castle but you couldn't get through to fantasyland. At ropedrop we were first onto dumbo.

The ropes were still there as of October last year. But if you have an 8.05 reservation you are not likely to be out of the restaurant too long before 9 so you still have the advantage of a head start by being at the rope before the rest of the guests arrive

That is one of the main motivations for the early reservation. Such different photos without the crowds

Thanks guys. Love the idea of the crowdless photo ops. Last year I got my ankles rammed by a wheelchair at rope drop when walking through the main gates so I will also be able to avoid ankle injuries, lol

That is certainly my experience of what I have seen with 8:05 breakfast reservations.
