I just found out no breakfast at Boatwrights and we had a ADR for March 11. We are going to WWSports for a braves game that day and it starts at 1:05. Is there a good resort close to WWSports we could go to on our way, about 10:30.?? We are staying at POR on the Dining plan. BTW, does anyone know if busses run to the sports complex?? We have a car, but it would be easier if we did not have to drive.

I do not think the buses go there. I know that when we went with our son in 2000 for a baseball tournament we drove. This year with the baseball tournament (which our son is now going as a coach with his team), they have buses for the participants from the participating resorts.

We have never been, but I understand Boma has a terrific buffet breakfast at the AKL. We enjoyed Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club this past September.

The only way to get to WWoS via WDW transport is to take a bus to DHS and transfer from there. If you go this route, you will want to give yourself plenty of time. You would be better off driving.

Apparently Boatwrights just dropped bfst. Which other resorts are close to POR that have restaurants?

If you can take a bus from the TTC to WWoS, I would recommend going to Kona Cafe at the Poly for breakfast and then walking from there to the TTC to get the bus to WWoS.

I have never been out there so I don't know what buses to catch from where to get there.

Olivia's at OKW serves breakfast. Also Sand Trap at the golf club serves breakfast and is a short drive from POR. Those are the two closest to your resort. Driving is the way to go with your plans.

well, that explains why i could get a boatwright's breakfast adr on 2/19 but not on 2/23! interesting... thanks!

for the OP... i strongly suggest b'fast at Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD, just a boat ride away from your resort... it's a CS and excellent! one of the best b'fasts we had in our entire 10 day trip last fall! and, DTD is also where you get the bus to WWoS so it could be a win/win... especially if you allow enough time after b'fast to do some shopping and then have ice cream at ghiradelli's before leaving DTD ;)

Do you know how often that boat runs? The one from SSR is only once/hour until 4 or so and I don't think it even begins running until 10 or 11.

And are you sure that there is a bus from DTD to WWoS? I've never gone there much less by bus but as a previous post noted, I've read that the only bus there runs from DHS.

What is tasty at WP Express for breakfast?:goodvibes

i would post over on the Transportation board re: the boat/bus questions... i've never taken either (POR to DTD in the early a.m. or any bus to WWoS) only read about them here!

we had a b'fast pizza that was great... an omelette we all enjoyed... and some waffles... outstanding! we've dubbed it "best CS in WDW" ('cause we enjoyed our lunch there too! LOL!)
