Okay, still planning...

We will be staying at the DLH, and the 1st morning we are there we are going to do Goofy's kitchen breakfast. I like to eat fairly soon after I wake up (within an hour), so what are my quickest options for the other 2 mornings? We want to eat breakfast before we go in to DL, so that we are fueled up to make it in right at EE or ropedrop (depending on the day), should we do room service? Or eat where each morning?? We didn't get the concierge floor--although I am planning on requesting an upgrade--so this might be a moot point...

We also like buffets, as it is easier to find my daughter something to eat (she's 3), thoughts for lunch or dinner that are buffets and good food??! :)

Thanks,
Lisa

There is a coffe place in the DLH (like a Starbuck's) where you can get pastries, etc... I would recommend you try Rainforest Cafe one morning. Their breakfasts are awesome and can easily be shared!

I've never been there, but what about Whitewater Snacks in the Grand Californian?

Or isn't there a coffee place in DTD? La Brea, or something like that?

I personally plan on beignets/fritters and coffee IN the park. :)

I'm not a fan of WWS breakfasts, but their lunch/dinner stuff is great!

LaBrea is good. We often eat there when we stay at the Grand. They have bagels, pastries, etc... Since the OP said she liked to eat within an hour, I think LaBrea would be too far for her to wait to eat! But it is definately a good place!

We are kind of eggs/omelets, sausage, hashbrowns kind of people... oatmeal maybe... cold cereal for DD... I do love beignets and pastries, but personally need a little protein with breakfast, and so does dh. Does anyone have a copy of the DLH room service menu? Maybe that would be easiest... then we can just get a coffee in the park later...

If you like eggs, omlettes. etc, then definately check out Rainforest Cafe! I'm sure room service will have all the basics as well!

We LOVE Rainforest for breakfast! (not many of the Rainforest Cafe's serve breakfast). We also enjoy WWS at the GC. It's cheap for what you get and good too. Kids LOVE the french toast sticks (and so do I :) ).

I posted a similar question and one place that came up was Riverbelle Terrace in Disneyland. There were several there that indicated they really liked this place. It is not a table service restaurant but more like a cafeteria style where you go through, pick up your meal and then find a table. We ate there years and years ago...it was good then. I am hearing it is still good.
