I am looking for a good breakfast or brunch buffet outside of the parks. Does anyone know a nice place that isnt expensive?

Thank you

I would suggest the Solaris restaurant in the Marriott World Center. They have a seven day a week breakfast buffet that is about 70 feet long, usually with about a dozen kinds of fruit. Eggs (including omlettes) and pancakes to order, and smoked salmon and parma ham, among others. Normally they serve until about 10:00, but on weekends depending on what is going on they serve until as late as 1:00. It is not cheap at $20.95, but that includes beverages, but it is less than Disney charges and has a lot more selections. I try to go there at least once a month.

For a more budget friendly buffet, you can try Ponderosa (about $3.99/pp last time we were there) or Golden Corral (about twice the cost of P).

GC had more selection and included drinks, whereas Ponderosa had less selection and no drinks included.

CiCI's Pizza also offers $3.99 Breakfast buffet, but I have never been brave enough to try it! ;)

Don't forget the shoney's right outside of wdw. The waitresses are really nice and can't beat the price.

We went to the Ponderosa back in 1999. We thought it was a great deal for breakfast.

We usually end up at Ponderosa. We had a lovely breakfast at a Golden Corral in VA, but the one we went to in Kissimmee in 2002 was not a good breakfast. They were constantly out of food! I know it's 8 years later, so it might have changed.

We like Perkins. They are located at several places outside each of the gates.

If you're looking for budget, try one of the several Ponderosa's. Most of them are $3.99, or just slightly higher (drink not included). Golden Corral has a better selection of food, and I think that was around $8 or $9 (drink included). We stayed in a condo at Terra Verde last year, and we ate both several times.

If you go to Golden corral around 10:15-10:30 you can have a nice breakfast then they start putting out their lunch items for 11am so it's like a free brunch.

We did this by accident and it was really neat!! Golden corral is pretty good.

Not a cici fan anyway..What do they have on a breakfast buffet????

While this is not budget, I have to agree with you. This has to be the best breakfast buffet I have ever been to. Huge selection. Hopefully, we will be there in September. I do try to get a room rate with breakfast included.
