Hey everyone

I know this seems a silly question, but food is important to me! :rotfl:

I'm getting married at 12 noon, but Lisa Pena is coming to start my make-up at 7am on my wedding day :cool1:

I'm just wondering what you all did about breakfast on your wedding day? I won't have time to go down to the food court or anything. We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

I won't exactly want a huge meal, but will have to eat something - what did you all do for breakfast on the big day?

Thanks!

Miranda

We have designated my Dad to go get us breakfast that morning. My wedding is at 10am. I'm sure someone will run down to the food court for you.

Can you use the coffee maker in the room to heat up water? We had oatmeal in our hotel room, but our wedding was at 9 a.m.

I would just send someone down to the food court.... or if you have a fridge' in room I would go the day before and get one of those fruit salads and yogart or something.

I've already thought about this too! Food is soooo important to me  We're staying at the BC, so we're going to order breakfast from room service. They have a continental breakfast option, so I'm sure that's what we'll do. Good luck :thumbsup2

Our wedding was in the afternoon so we were able to enjoy breakfast in the concierge lounge before my DH left to go off with the guys.

Our ceremony wasn't until 3:00 but my hairdresser was scheduled to be there at 11:00 and do my MIL's, MOH's and my hair. MOH and I shared a room the night before the wedding and we ordered room service to be delivered at 9:00. That way we didn't have to get up too early but still had time to relax and eat (of course I didn't sleep well anyway!). DH had breakfast at the food court with my daddy.

My wedding was at 1pm but my vendors were scheduled to arrive at about 9:30am. My family and DH all went downstairs (we stayed at WL) and ate at the Whispering Canyon Cafe (About 7:30-8ish). Im glad we did that-- DH and I stayed the night before and it was our 'farewell' before the ceremony. The servers there brought us some champagne (WAY TOO EARLY for that stuff)... and we toasted and kissed in front of them... they made us have a 'practice kiss' in front of the restaurant. It was a good way to get some food in before the 1pm ceremony and photos (which went on until about 3pm). Our dinner reservations werent until 9pm (earliest we could get in at O'hanas).... so we knew we would be starved. We went on over to O'hanas about 7:45pm and they went ahead and sat us by the window and we got to see wishes!!

We were starving from 8am until 8pm-- but atleast we got a good breakfast in!

(DH looks like hes still half asleep- .. I guess us staying out at MGM the night before until 11pm didnt help any. Yep- we were coloring!!)

My planner arranged for my bridesmaids and I to use one of the convention center rooms at the GF for hair and makeup preparation. We just simply called room service and ordered breakfast. It was a bit pricey, of course, but it was the easiest way to go about it.

I had to be over to the GF Spa for 8:30AM for my nails. But that didn't stop me from scarfing down some chocolate chip pancakes from the POFQ foodcourt. MMmmmmm chocolate chip pancakes.

But...my wedding was at 2:30...and I had a similar issue with lunch. I wanted something...but nothing big. My dad wound up getting me a diet coke (my favourite) from the food court, and I had a Nature's valley Almond crunch bar. It worked perfectly. I was too busy rushing around to eat anything more.

I'd bring some granola bars or something easy on your stomach for the morning, and if you're up for getting something from the food court, like others said, I'm sure you'll be able to convince someone to go and get something for you. After all, you're the bride ;)

We did the same thing. My dad brought back breakfast for all the girls in the bridal party - just pastries, and stuff like that, nothing fancy. It was perfect.

I like the idea of sending someone to go get breakfast for us all. I've asked my male bridesmaid to be in charge of breakfast now since he's not having his hair and make-up done :rotfl:

So he can go to the food court with my Dad and get us a load of fruit and pastries. Thanks everyone- can't believe how worried I was getting about such a silly thing! :lmao:

my wedding is at 230. but hair is starting and dress steaming at 7. i was goign to have a edible arangment deliverd and but bagels and fixings for the room so we can eat while getting ready..

I agree with having something delivered

Then you dont have to worry about anything or anybody....its worth it if its gonna cause less stress

Make sure you eat a decent breakfast....you dont want to get woosy;)

I agree with delivery or someone grabbing breakfast for ya. I had a 2pm wedding so I had plenty of time to go down to the food court and eat before the hair and make up. I almost ran into my husband that way tho

We are haiving fruit, juice, bagels and muffins delivered the day before from gardengrocer.com we will have fridge so we will keep it in there over night. I have 10 or so mouths to feed so the room service thing can get pricey, plus we are at the Boardwalk and the BW does not have a food court so this is the best option.

I am sure someone will go down and get you a bite to eat. I would be worried too I dont function well w/o food:rotfl:

I am staying at the POFQ and getting married at 2:30pm. I was thinking of locating an Panera Bread and ordering muffins, sandwiches for the 10 + people who will be in my room getting ready. Does anyone know where the closest Panera Bread is to Disney?

Our ceremony wasn't until 4 p.m. but everyone showed up to start getting ready at 11 a.m. DH and I just ordered a small breakfast from room service. Toast, an apple, and orange juice for me. and cereal and apple juice for DH. I only ate my toast and had a small bite of my apple. I was so excited that I couldn't eat very much. When my SIL showed up she took me down to get a pina colada from the pool bar. It was super yummy!
