Breakfast on the ship?

I have so many last minute questions.

I have read that the three restaurants are open at breakfast - does this mean we use our dining rotation restaurant to eat breakfast? Is there a certain time for seating? Are there other options for breakfast?

Linda, usually only two of the restaurants are open + the buffet on deck 9.

Lumiere's/Triton's is a sit down, served breakfast. It's open seating, and there are usually lots of seats. I seem to recall breakfast there from about 8:30-10 ish. Parrot Cay sometimes has a buffet breakfast. On the 7 day, for at-sea days the character breakfast is held there. The character breakfast IS assigned seating and is based on your rotation dining schedule.

Topsiders/Beach Blanket Buffet is a full breakfast buffet, and my memory says it's something like 7:00 or 7:30 - 10:30. They sometimes have pastries outside by the drink station before the full buffet opens up.

You can also elect for a continental type breakfast at no charge through room service (drinks other than coffee, tea or milk are a charge). Just tip your server.

Just to add to what tkd lisa already said...

The only time your rotation affects breakfast dining is for the Character Breakfast on the 7-day and on your last morning for all cruises. Breakfast the last morning will be held at the restaurant where you dined the night before. There are two seatings, just like at dinners. Early diners need to be at the last breakfast by 6:45 and late diners by 8:00 or 8:30 (I don't remember which as we had early dining). You can opt to have breakfast at Topsiders/Beach Blanket on your last morning, however it is not the full buffet that is usually offered, just a continental breakfast. Also, there is no room service the last morning of the cruise.
