Is there breakfast on the last day since disembarkation is so early? If so can someone give details. Is there a time when you must be off the ship by or does everyon e leave the same time.

You have 2 choices. Everyone has the choice of going to Topsiders for a continetal breakfast. OR you can go to Breakfast to the same restraunt you had dinner the night before. If you have the main dinner seating (6pm), breakfast is served to you at 6:45. If you have the late seating (8:30pm), your breakfast is at 8am. When you are done with breakfast, you will disembark as soon as customs clears the ship.

The bad thing about breakfast on that day is that you must vacate your room when you go to breakfast...wherever you choose. It's fun lugging all your carry ons down to the dining room at 6:45 am!

The continental breakfast the last morning does have some hot items on the menu. We had scrambled eggs & bacon. Don't remember if there was potatoes but there were plenty of items to choose from. You must be out of your cabins by 8AM....but the buffet still serves after 8AM.

Breakfast is EXTREMELY DEPRESSING on the last day. You are tired, and YOU DON'T WANT TO GET OFF! We lingered as long as we could and HAD NO APPETITE AT ALL!

The first cruise we went on the last day breakfast was awful. It is very rushed and the food seemed barely cooked. I would go with Topsiders or do as we did last time and stop somewhere after leaving the ship. It just wasn't worth the extra hour.

Since we had a later flight, we left our room about 8:00am and went to the buffet. There were several hot items as well as the usual fruit, rolls, cereal, etc. By the time we left the ship, there weren't that many people left on board and getting our luggage, going through customs and checking our bags with Delta was all a breeze. DCL definitely has debarkation down to a science!

I agree with the choice of Topsiders. Our first cruise, we had the early seating and ate in Lumiere's. I sitll remember the line and congestion in the atrium waiting to disembark. We got smarter the next two times, eating at Topsiders/Beach Blanket Buffet and leaving at our own pace. By the time we disembarked, the ship was almost empty and getting off and through customs wa a breeze. It was happy and sad eating at topsiders though, knowing that it was our last meal there, but watching the servers already setting up for the next cruise and thinking how lucky the next cruisers were.
