I made dinner ADR's for all of our TS credits, and plan on using the CS for lunch while at the parks during the day. I've never been on the plan before and was wondering what people usually do for breakfast? I guess it is an option to pay OOP, but I was trying to see what the other options were. Thanks!

I would just book one TS a day which could be breakfast or dinner depending on my schedule. Sometimes a breakfast at CP at MK or PSB at Epcot and then other days book dinner instead where we'd like to eat.

If I booked a dinner TS then we usually use our CS credits for either breakfast or lunch also depending on our schedule.

If we use our CS credits for lunch, then for breakfast we either pay OOP or use our snack credits for muffins and drinks and vice versa.

We used our snack credits mainly for breakfast (Fountainview is GREAT, if open). We also bought a box of donuts at POP and had those for several days.

Usually we had an early lunch, so we didn't need much for breakfast.

we plan to buy a box of donuts at pop as well, as use them as in-room breakfast - want to save our snack credits to use at the FW booths while we're there in october

We used most of our TS for dinner with a couple of Character breakfast thrown in. Then for breakfast and lunch, we would get 2 CS and split them between the four of us. If it was not enough to fill us up we would use snack credits to add something to the meal or pay out of pocket for something extra. We figured with so much food at dinner we could get away with eating lighter throughout the day. The only time this was a problem was if someone didn't want the same thing as another person in our party. (Mom logic came into play then. we don't all eat different things at home every meal) Most times we could all agree on something. We actually ended up with left over credits so if you plan on paying out of pocket I would wait until you're sure all of your credits are gone.

Most of our TS were for dinner. If we were full we got the dessert for beakfast the next day. If not we would just use a snack credit and of course we bought the mugs. There are also alot of options in the gift shops.

We usually do one TS character breakfast (and the rest of our TS credits are lunch/dinner).

We usually have bagels and cereal in the room (we stay at the YC so we have a fridge to store milk & Cream cheese).... we're not big breakfast eaters, so we don't want to waste credits on that meal :rotfl:

We do a combination of paying OOP, using snack credits and bringing breakfast snack type food.

You can eat for a couple of days on just 2 Snack credits! Buy a bag of bagels from your resort gift shop, and a container of peanut butter! Or, you can buy a box of donuts, or a loaf of bread. Basically anything under $4 is one snack credit. :)

That's what we did last time, and plan on doing again. I have almost as many TS breakfasts as I have TS dinner.

Combination. Paid for a few OOP when we wanted a full meal. CS was better used for lunch and dinner with those prices and dessert. I did use some snack credits. DS usually wanted eggs etc, so I paid for that, and I would be happy with a bowl of fruit - used snack credit. One morning I bought my bagel, didn't want to waste a snack credit on $2 item. We had mugs, so just used those for our drinks. I also had granola bars, fruit etc in the room for snacks and that was breakfast on a few early days to parks.

We aren't into big breakfasts. We should have remembered that when we booked an early character breakfast at Crystal Palace... it was nice to see MK empty, but we'll never do that again. Kids had a hard time going on rides before their stomachs settled. Most mornings we went to waterparks anyhow, so we bought granola bars, fruit and flax to have in the room with refillable mug drinks before venturing out. That kept us happy until lunch time.

There are some decent places you can use snack credits to get a breakfast-type item. Main St Bakery in the MK is a great option. Huge pastries and cinnamon rolls and other baked goods can be had with a snack credit. In Epcot the Fountain View Cafe is a good option for baked goods. Sunshine seasons has a bakery counter where you could probably use a snack credit. In MGM you could probably hit Starring Rolls for baked goods with a snack credit. In AK you can use snack credits a couple of places in Africa to pick up some fruit (Harambe Fruit Market) or baked goods (Kusafari Bakery inside Tusker House). Outside the parks, most resorts have a general store of sorts where you can use a snack credit for a box of donuts, package of bagels, half gallon of milk.....stuff like that. Some have freash baked goods, too (like at the Beach Club). I'm sure the food courts at many resorts have fruit or other baked goods that you can use a snack credit for. The Quick Service eateries in many resorts also have baked goods you can use snack credits on. The Boardwalk Bakery has breakfast goodies you can get for a snack credit.

With a snack credit you aren't going to get a huge, hot breakfast....but you can get plenty of good stuff to tide you over until lunch.

We eat ALL of our breakfasts OOP. Hubby loves breakfast so there are no shortcuts on our trips. We love our snack credits and used them for fun stuff like ice cream and fudge. Occassionally we have a CS credit leftover and will use it for breakfast at the CS, but that's only 1 or 2 credits that may be leftover. We are DVC members and will often have breakfast type food in the kitchenette in case we don't feel like a big breakfast.
