Breakfast in the Park - still available?

Hi there,

haven't been to DLRP for 2 years now... ... But now I think I'm going there this June !

Does anybody know, whether the breakfast in the park (Chalet Marionette or Auberge Cendrillon) is still available ?

I think it is but its hit & miss as to whether there is slots available when you check in.

yep, still the same, ask at your hotel when you check in, and you can also ask each evening for the next day (if breakfast in the park is taking place).

no, if theres availability when you ask, you can go as many mornings as you like.

When we did this last year it was in the plaza though so the restaurants may have changed.

we were offered this last week from the Cheyenne and it was Plaza Gardens xx

Ooh, hope it's still the Plaza in the summer - such a pretty restaurant.

We went last year and it was Plaza Gardens for us too, so assume it's still there? great location for it really, sticks you in the hub which is prime location for getting to any attraction fast. (Which might be why they did it that way)

we had breakfast in the park 3 days running last year, the first 2 days it was in Chalet au Marionette, the 3rd day it was in the Plaza Gardens.

We were there for Feb half term and on check-in were offered breakfast in the park for all 5 days. We chose to try one and see if it was any better than the hotel and it was at the Plaza Gardens. We chose 9.30 and it was lovely and relaxed with proper plates and cups so that evening we asked at reception to change for the rest of our stay. However the venue we were given was at the Chalet Marionette and was awful with paper plates, cups etc. and a bit of a free for all! We changed back the next day to the hotel and stuck with that. We did notice prams outside Plaza Gardens so I think they may operate a couple of restaurants each morning.

Hi, we had breakfast in the park last Monday, it was at Chalet Marionette and wasn't any better (or worse) than the Santa Fe's.

Hmm just reading this - do you think it's worth trying if staying in the HNY or just sticking with the hotel. I quite like hot items in the morning and know it's included at HNY.... Just thought it might be nice to go into the park for it one morning, esp if we can get towards the end of EMH.

you don't get the option to choose breakfast in the park if you're a guest at either the HNY or the DLH - as it would be a downgrade on the breakfast thats available to you in your own hotel .

I thought It was a bit weird when we did this as there were only limited times available but when we got to the plaza it was practically empty especially compared to breakfast at NB which was insanely busy. I'm not sure if they just limit the number of vouchers that they give out to keep it more civilized or if there are lots of people who book and then don't show or possibly a combination of both.

Thanks Elaine. I thought that might be the case. I guess it will be a case of walking back to the hotel to do breakfast towards the end of EMH a few days then....
