Breakfast in Hollywood Studios?

I have my park reservations all made for October, and a list of places I think we'd like to eat each day... but I have no idea what to do for our HS day. We're staying at AKL, so I don't know if we should just try for something at the resort (realizing that may be limited), or go somewhere else. What's good for breakfast at HS? Any suggestions?

The current calendar has DHS opening at 10am, I'm not sure they'll bother having a lot of breakfast options available if that's still the case in October.

There were very limited options when we there in early March. We ended up doing Hollywood & Vine and it was just Ok - highlight was the characters but obviously that isn’t a factor these days.

Some of the places in Galaxy's Edge had breakfast, Ronto Roasters had a wrap, Mild Stand has a few things, but no idea what will be happening with the reopen.

I am hoping to find the french toast stuffed pretzel when we are there... It sounds and looks amazing. Paired with a coffee Ill be a happy camper..lol

Yeah, I had Hollywood & Vine planned for our March trip, and then when I made ADRs for the October trip... but that won't be happening. I'm not mad about it. My 6 yr old isn't *that* big of a Disney Jr fan.

The only reason I made the ADR was because there was *literally* nothing in the park for my 4 year old to do before 10am. It was a huge pet peeve of mine. We had to be there by 7am to get a ROTR boarding group... and then the 3 rides she could go on (SDD, AS2, TsMM) had massive lines. All the shows, character meets and anything else to pass the time for her didn’t open until 10am. So what did I do? Book a character breakfast and give Disney more money :rolleyes2 Hopefully they fix that issue when they re open!

You get the French Toast Pretzel at the entrance into Incrediland and the turning to go to Toy Story land, just before the Joffrey's stand. It was very nice indeed and very filling.

In March we had Starbucks... but we also had to get there super early for boarding passes. It was a nice start to the day

I would eat at the resort before going, since each place in HS has a unique breakfast menu of limited choices. None of them are great. Each resort has good choices for breakfast that will be cheaper too.

Woody’s may be open by your dates and if so they have some decent options. If not, coffee and carrot cake cookie from Trolley Car Cafe will always save the day.

I'm hoping for lunch at Woody's and dinner at Docking Bay 7... but a cookie for breakfast sounds interesting!

My only concern is what will be available at the resort - we're currently booked for AKL Jambo, and I don't know if any of the restaurants are opening there before our trip. I have plenty of time to plan, I guess, and I'm certainly expecting things will change as everything starts to reopen.

I heard you can get a hot breakfast plate + other options at The Mara which is their quick service location if you don't want to spend a lot on a buffet. They won't be doing buffets for sure.

Surprisingly we had breakfast at the Commissary last March and it was pretty good. Not table service, but quiet. I never recommend Hollywood & Vine it is not worth the price.

I agree that the menu looked really good but inspired selections might not appeal to lots of families. It sounded like the clear choice to me if I had to make one for being unique.
