We have decided to use one of our table credits to do a morning breakfast. We don't NEED a character but it could be I suppose. We are staying at the CBR. But I don't believe our resort hotel Shutters has a sit down breakfast. Any suggestions? We are planning on going the morning before we go to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom.

Thanks for any suggestion. We are four adults and three kids 6, 8, 9.

My first choice would be to do one of the breakfasts in the park you're heading to..... DD and I also really enjoyed the buffet at Cape May, though that's farther out of the way. Unless we have an ADR, we tend to grab something quick at the resort we're staying at, so there are probably a lot of options I haven't tried that other people will be able to speak to. )

Big vote for Crystal Palace -- a wonderful, wonderful breakfast buffet (high quality, lots of choices) and if you book an early seating, you can have the walk down Main St. and up to the castle all to yourselves; it's our favorite way to start a day at MK, and makes good use of your credits.

I am not a big breakfast person, but we were there in December as my boys love Mary Poppins. The food was incredible. I wish I had some of the bread pudding right now!

I just did some research into breakfast and found that both Yacht Club Galley and Spoodles have a breakfast buffet or regular breakfast without the characters. Cape May has the characters and theirs is a buffet too. I'm also considering Kona Cafe for breakfast before hitting MK.

Crystal Palace or Cape May

For MK you could try one of the monorail resorts. Take the bus to the park and then catch the monorail to a breakfast. We did this on our last trip. We took the bus to MK and went to Chef mickeys.
This time we are trying the Ohana breakfast. If you want non charac., the reviews for Kona breakfast look really good too! :goodvibes

If it was MK then I would do Whispering Canyon Cafe or Kona Cafe.
If it was AK then I would do Boma.

Crystal Palace...even though it is a character breakfast the food is delicious! My 5yr ds is a picky eater and he was actually stuffed when we left there.

the one place we MUST eat breakfast at WDW is the Kona cafe- Tonga Toast! best coffee around!

The CBR does have a food court for breakfast. We stayed there in 2000 and the food was good, but no character breakfast. We have always just used the food court restaurants in the hotels where we are staying. We loved the POFQ. We have never eaten at any of the character meals but we are going to this trip - August 18th - 24th with a cruise to follow.

I would pick a ts at the park you are attending that day...If going to MK then CP is excellent food and the company of pooh and friends! AK not sure, but lots of people have complimented Boma...if you're on the monorail trail...Chef Mickeys at the Contemp or Ohana's at the Poly...Shutters at the CBR is for dinner only, however if not doing TS they have the Cinnnamon Bay Bakery that has breakfast items.

Crystal Palace on the day you're in the MK! Best breakfast on property! They have Winnie the Pooh characters there, but the food is so good that they really don't need 'em! The restaurant is pretty, too.

Now I wish I could eat at the CP tomorrow morning.

Chef Mickey. Since you will be going to the MK, it is only a monorail ride away.

We loved this breakfast. We got lots of great pictures with characters and we enjoyed touring the Grand Floridian too !
