Most morning it will be a quick something in the room but one day we will be going to O'hana. Now I am thinking of changing it to Boma. I have had Cape May, 1900, and the Wave before but looking for something different. Any thoughts on which one would be better. Keep with what i have or change?

Love Boma, and if you're looking for a buffet, it does have some unique, African-inspired dishes, beyond (but along with) some of the usual suspects. 'Ohana has the benefit of characters if you're looking for that, but in my view, it is a relatively limited "family style" menu that generally covers just the basics. If looking for breakfast options strictly based on the food, I'd give the vote to Boma over 'Ohana every time. Part of the decision might be convenience -- no doubt that Boma isn't exactly the most convenient location.

Love the Grand Floridian Cafe. Gorgeous room and view, and great breakfast.

Where are you staying and what park do you plan to go to that day? Or is it a non-park day? Also are characters important to you?

(I like Boma and O'Hana, but convenience for the rest of my day is my #1 in picking where to go. Both are good. O'hana is less adventurous, but Boma you have more choices since it is not family style. No characters at Boma. I experienced slightly longer waits at O'hana. O'hana for me was more convenient because we went to the Magic Kingdom after, where Boma we did no a non-park day. Though it could be fun on an Animal Kingdom day. I hope that helps.)

Never had Ohana breakfast, only dinner. We do love Boma breakfast though !!! Can't wait until November :)

We are staying at BLT and doing Chef Mickey's the first night there so I don't really care about characters. This is a non-park day. I am leaning towards Boma since it is something different.

I would also stick with Ohana.. Love the character breakfast there! I have never been to Boma but I have heard nothing but great things about the buffet there for breakfast. If I wanted to do a non-character breakfast, then the Grand Floridian Cafe is my go to spot - I love the vanilla-laced french toast and no trip to wdw is complete without an early morning breakfast before heading to MK for rope drop. I booked GFC twice for my Nov trip and I also love Kona Cafe for something for laid back.. breakfast is delicious there!

Boma is our favorite breakfast on property. We have even stopped there to eat on non-Disney trips through Orlando.

I'm no help, because I've booked both. I was able to get both at pre-park opening times. So we've got Ohana on a MK day and Boma on AK day. I'm hoping that we can eat, then get to the parks at/before opening. I'm not staying at either place, so it also gives me a chance to check out both hotels! I would have gotten a CP pre-opening breakfast if there were any available. Thought I snagged one until I realized it was morning EMH, so nope. I'm debating whether to cancel it (it's on our second MK day).

I wish I could get Ohana. Dh and I would love to eat there but I can't get a time. I will keep trying. We have 3 months.

Just cancelled my O'Hana reservation and decided to go for a Boma. It just looks like I will like the food better. I had dinner there many times and the breakfast looks just as good.

I really like breakfast at 'Ohana, but I have also heard great things about Boma and it's on our list of places to try. :)

What is so good about 'Ohana breakfast? Seems to simple to me, like Akershus breakfast.
We have it booked but it's really early, not sure if it's worth it.

Compared to the other breakfast places, I thought it had a good selection. Waffles, eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage...I'm probably forgetting something. But, personally, I also like that it is not a buffet.
