I can't say I love it OR hate it. It's really the only time we have breakfast food though. It's an easy dinner and the kids enjoy it.

It's starting to get cooler and that's when we start having b'fast for dinner occasionally throughout the week. We always say it's almost b'fast/chili weather!

I love it. I only do that about twice a year. Egg, bacon, grits and biscuits. The kids think it's a big deal having eggs at night. Go figure. :confused3

I love it! When the kids were little, I would have pancakes or eggs and bacon once in a while as a treat. Now my DH detests breakfast food at night, so I don't make it. I do miss it though.

Weren't you going to order pizza the last time that she was making breakfast for dinner? :rotfl:

I love having breakfast for dinner. There's rarely enough time to have it in the morning. School mornings are way too early since my oldest child leaves the house at 6:30AM. We could on weekends and occasionally do, but I like to sleep on those days. And even when we do, we don't make as good of a breakfast. When we make if for dinner we can have waffles and blueberry sauce, hash browns, oj, and take our time eating it.

And it's an easy dinner!

I LOVE breakfast for dinner although I don't always eat breakfast lol

When my brother and I were little, one of our favorite things in the world was when we'd go spend the night with our grandparents and they'd take us to IHOP for dinner. It just always seemed so "illegal" to be eating pancakes at night. :teeth:

Mmm....maybe tonight's a pancake night!

I like it for a couple reasons: first off, I'm not a huge morning eater. So, breakfast foods always seem to heavy and filling. I'm fine with a peice of toast in the morning. So, eating them at night makes it more enjoyable, as I'm awake and hungry. Secondly, most breakfast foods are quick and easy to make. I can throw together pancakes or waffles in a couple minutes when we need a fast meal. Oh, and its also cheap. Pancake mix and some bacon can feed our family of 4 for a couple of bucks!

I never prepare breakfast foods for dinner. Back, years ago, we had pancakes on a regular basis during Lent, since we are Catholic, and meat wasn't permitted during Lent. My father hated fish. I am afraid I am pancaked out for my entire life. My sibs and I refer to pancakes as "horse food".

Can't you make it as a special night dinner for you and the kids and just give your husband something else to eat??

Love it! Just this past week we had an egg bake and cinnamon rolls for dinner. I usually don't have time to make a big breakfast for breakfast, so we'll have a big breakfast for dinner once in awhile.

You could always offer to fix dinner. Honestly most nights I'd be happy with a bowl of cereal but I make a nice dinner because it's important to DH and it's necessary for DD. DH appreciates whatever I put in front of him or is smart enough to keep his mouth shut.

Wow, you are really in the minority. I was more curious about the results than actually answering but I was surprised at the landslide.

We love breakfast for dinner but probably because it's a once in a while treat. We also go all out and have omelets, homemade cinnamon rolls, french toast, various bkft meats, fried potatoes! Darn if that doesn't sound good.

Well, I voted "love," but I don't really love it. It's a nice change every once-in-a-while and it's easy to fix.

The ONE time I made it, I did like it (don't normally eat breakfast), but I found it takes longer to make than most dinner foods. It'll be some time before I attempt it again.

Oh, sure. I used to do that when the kids were little. They are all adults now. DH is not really a picky eater, and will eat anything I put in front of him. I just know he hates it ... see we are like delilah from a PP...Catholic and no meat on Friday. French toast, eggs and pancakes. I get nostalgic and he cringes.

I seldom eat breakfast so I do enjoy it for dinner once in a while.

We love it here. Everyone leaves at different times in the morning so we usually make it for dinner at least once a month.

I'm OK with Huevos Rancheros or an omelette for dinner, but I don't like waffles, pancakes, or french toast at night. Actually I don't even like fruit at night!
