Breakfast before park open ?

I know this has been asked before, but I was looking to move my ressie earlier for Donald's Safari BF and they have an opening at 8:30 AM...so if I take it, how do I get there (from CBR)? Take a cab since the buses don't start until 8? Is that a pain? should I just keep my 9 AM?

I could be wrong but I think each park has a bus that runs a half hour before the parks open for Character Meals. Hopefully someone else can come along and confirm that for you.

I think there is a bus that runs an hour before park opening.

We ate at Tusker House 8:30 in Jan and we caught a bus from our resort that got us to AK before 8:15...we were staying at Fort Wilderness.

Cabs are a good option too as you don't have to wait for them...

I am cheap and would probably catch the bus.

Thanks...I would hope that they have the buses running for the early ADR's but the Disney site just says an hour before opening. I don't want to have to take a cab, since we will have DS who won't be 3 so we would need his seat, which I'm not planning on taking.

The buses will be running in plenty of time. Ask the castmember you call to make the reservations what time they start. It shouldn't be a problem.

We did the early breakfast at AK on our Oct '08 trip and it wasn't a problem at all. Just make sure you get to the bus stop early. It may take some time to get to AK from your resort. I think they said to be at the buses 45 minutes before the reservation. Although the buses are not running, they are not running as frequently as normal.

In case you didn't know, when you get to the park, there will be one gate open with a CM standing there with a list of the reservations prior to the park opening. I'd make sure you had your confirmation # with you just in case there's an issue.
