We are going to WDW the last week in October. I was thinking of going to breakfast at Rainforest Cafe before the park opens, and then being able to head into the park after breakfast/ when it opens. Is that possible? (I can't find any info on the hours Rainforest Cafe is open at AK for breakfast)

Throughout most of the year they serve breakfast from 8AM-10AM so you should be able to do breakfast there at 8AM (approx) then head into AK when they open.

Last Thanksgiving day, we had breakfast at the Rainforest and was able to walk right in to AK after breakfast.

Thanks! If I get an 8am ADR and the park opens at 9 (not a magic hour day), then we could be in the front of the crowd entering the park, right? And our upcoming trips seem to be coinciding! We arrive a day before you do. :wave2:

Thanks for the info! Were you able to time it so your meal ended about the time they started letting people in the park? :teleport:

No.

Since RFC is OUTSIDE the DAK gates,if you finish Breakfast before Park Opening, you will have to line up at the Mickey Readers with everyone else.

There IS a separate entrance outside the "back" of RFC that most Guests don't know about,so that would be the one you would want to go to,but it opens at the same time as the Main Gate,so early Breakfast at RFC really doesn't give you a "head start" like early Breakfasts INSIDE a Park can.:)

1) Correct.
2) Getting out of the eatery to beat the crowds is more illusion than fact.

I was able to finish breakfast right at opening time of the park, I then was able to come thru the Rainforest entrance and avoid a large portion of the crowd. First in line to enter park at the Rainforest entrance.
