Breakfast at Plaza or Crystal Palace?

So, I’m aware of the whole buffet vs. service, pricing difference, etc. between the two. I’m tempted to take the fam to the Plaza due more to the simplicity, price, less getting up and down with my little ones to the buffet. I haven’t found a ton of Plaza reviews. Any thoughts?

While I would go to Crystal Palace if I had little ones you will find a good meal there. Service has always been good as well,

The Plaza kind of falls into the "hidden gem" category for us. Good food, quiet(er), less expensive than CP.

I'd do the Plaza for lunch or dinner, but not breakfast. To me it just doesn't seem like a breakfast place. I'd prefer the buffet type breakfast so I can get all kinds of fruit and pastries and eggs and bacon.

We did both last week. Honestly I really like the Plaza better! There was plenty food and it is a great place to eat. Service was good and it was a relaxing meal. Crystal palace is fine too but a little louder and more chaotic with characters and just a bigger place. You cant really go wrong with either!

Do you know if a non alcoholic beverage is included for those of us paying out of pocket?

They were not included except on the kids menu. Coffee was a cost as well.

We had breakfast and lunch on the same day at the Plaza and loved both. Breakfast as PP have stated was more relaxing then our breakfast at Crystal Palace. I don't think you can go wrong at either one but know that the food was delicious at the Plaza.

What time were you thinking? For us, we like breakfast to be quick since the morning hours in the park are most valuable for shorter wait times. Plaza would be faster than Crystal Palace, so I'd be inclined to choose that.

Part of the personal debate here. Do I take a 7:55 Plaza? Or do we take a 10:30 or so "brunch" at CP? There are 7 of us total, including the inlaws who are close to 80. They decided to join our trip later than 180 out if that makes sense. My reservation for CP is at 8:30, which is not a time that I am thrilled with. Either we get there early, eat and ride, or we get there early, ride then eat later.

What time does the park open? if its an 8am open, I would not take the 7:55 Plaza. But if its a 9am open, then the 7:55am Plaza would be my vote. I'm not a huge fan of mid-morning/late morning breakfasts and brunches only because I'm usually hungry early in the morning and I like to get the eating out of the way so as not to interrupt our park touring cadence during the morning. It gets crowded for us around lunch time, so we like to knock out as much as we can during the morning hours before we take a break. And I assume you'll be taking a break with 80 year olds in the mix. I'd also consider whether 80 year olds would need to eat earlier than that - most 80 year olds I know are up at the crack of dawn, so that would be lunch time for them. LOL!
