Which character breakfast would you choose?:confused3

We were originally staying at the Contemporary, so we booked Chef Mickey's because it would be easy and convenient. Now we are staying at the Polynesian and I'm wondering if we should switch back? We've had breakfast at Chef Mickey's before, and dinner at 'Ohana, but never breakfast at 'Ohana.

Or, we're thinking we might just grab a quick CS breakfast and cancel the ADRs because we want to go to the MK in the morning before we have tea at the Grand Floridian at 3:20.

So... our options are:

1. Chef Mickey's at 10:20 and spend a lot of time using transportation
2. Make an earlier reservation at 'Ohana
3. Make a reservation for the Crystal Palace (although we are eating dinner there on our first night)
4. Any other ideas??

Thank you!!

I like trying new things, so I would make reservations at 'Ohana.

I would have done the Crystal Palace, but you are eating dinner there this trip. So I would want a different ambience to shake things up a bit.

Also, it will be nice to be in your resort and go to breakfast right there and then to the park without the extra travel time. I love Lilo & Stitch, too. They are really cute. And I like the family style sometimes (rather than always getting up to go to a buffet).

Chef Mickey's is wonderful, though. If you want to keep it, you cannot lose. And you can check out all the changes happening at the Contemporary with the new construction.

I voted O'Hanas. Just to avoid the transportation time would be worth it in my opinion. Who wants to use up time on a MK day just to eat breakfast? Although I love the Chef Mickey's breakfast, I just wouldn't want all the travel issues. There's always another day...

DH and I did Ohana breakfast in Aug and it was awesome, we arrived at 7:15am and seated right at 7:30, the food was very good and we ate our weight in waffles, the characters were the best! They interacted with everyone, kids and adults and it was so much fun!

Cannot wait to do this one again in January

Well I love Chef Mic's. But since I am on the kick of trying new things then I would have to say go to Ohanna's for breakfast.:thumbsup2

I would choose 'Ohana so I wouldn't need to travel for breakfast. We did the 'Ohana breakfast the last time we were there and the breakfast was pretty good and so was the character interaction. We loved Stitch and his antics at our table plus I got a big Stitch hug!:lovestruc

Aghh sorry, I should have included this in my OP, but we are having dinner at 'Ohana the previous night. Whoops!

Hmmm now I'm thinking that we may skip the MK that morning, since we are doing it the day before... AND going to MVMCP on our first night.

The day we are having breakfast at Chef Mickeys/wherever is our AK day, so maybe we should have breakfast at AK and then travel back to the GF @ 3:20 for tea?? Or we could just hang out at the resort, but that seems like a lot of WDW time to waste... but we ARE staying at the Poly and want to enjoy it!!

Oh goodness, there is just too much planning involved for these trips!!

I would personally stay at the Poly and Ohana's for breakfast, assuming you can still get a reservation. Enjoy the resort and be rested for the afternoon tea. If you already have the Chef Mickey reservation you could still do that if a reservation isn't available at Ohana's and then go back to the Poly and enjoy the time at the resort until your tea time. I wouldn't want to travel to AK and rush through breakfast and the park to be back for the afternoon tea. It also depends on how many of you and transporation you are using. If you are using buses then you need to allow sufficient time from the Poly to AK and back.
