It will just be 2 adults and we are going for the food not the characters. Which one is better? We are staying at the Poly, but if 1900 is much better then that is fine too. Thanks!

I can't speak for 1900 Pare Fare (although we are trying it in March), but we have been to Ohana for breakfast 2x and both times it was good. Its nothing really special...just ordinary breakfast food...but the juice and the bread was so nummy!!! My dd wants to go back just so she can get the juice!

Both are good. I prefer 1900 since it is a buffet and has more choices. You can also get the strawberry soup there and they have an omelet station.

I almost posted the same question, except I have kids so characters do matter :thumbsup2 I think we are doing Ohana to see Stich and will do 1900 another trip.

OP: neither. Don't get me wrong, both are OK, but especially on an adult-only trip I'd take the monorail to the Contemporary and do breakfast at The Wave. They have a buffet and a full menu.

If I wanted the characters I'd try for Crystal Palace first. Non-characters menu only Kona has a good breakfast too.

Just between 1900PF and Ohana I'd take 1900PF, but that is because I am not a big fan of potatoes with my breakfast and they are a major component of the family-style platter at Ohana.

I'm going to 1900 Park fare for breakfast soon...what is strawberry soup? I see people write this all the time...

It is a cold, creamy soup that is bright pink and tastes like strawberries. It may sound a little weird, but ladle some into a bowl and try it. Very nice flavor.

I love strawberries. I'll check this out when we go. Thanks for the info.:thumbsup2

1900 Park Fare has excellent breakfast food. I personally love the lobster benedict :) I haven't been to Ohana though (ask me in 3 weeks, lol) but Ohana looks kinda plain to me... like regular breakfast food and nothing special.

I am a number 1 stitch fan , but the food is way better at 1900 park fare , the strawberry soup is like a strawberry cream soup , it is fantastic , so yummy , but they have other great food there as well like smoked salmon, the omelet station, pastries, french toast , bread pudding, fresh fruit ..
but if you want to stay at the Poly , why not Kona ?

This is exactly why I am trying to pick one, I have ressies for both and want to drop one to go to the Wave:)

I am taking my mother and she loves breakfast food, so I am booking 4 breakfasts.... I have one morning planned at kona as well...but now I want to try the wave so I have to drop either 1900 or ohana... also have crystal palace booked because that is her favorite:love: These decisions are so hard.. I want to try both!!! LOL

We like Ohana much better than 1900 PF. Along with loving the food (and the awesome juice :goodvibes), we like that it's family style so the food is brought to your table.

I have heard so many great things about Ohana bkfst, but they just dont seem to have many items my family would enjoy (DH, DD and both little DS HATE eggs) and only DH & I would eat the potatoes...SO, since thats the majority of the menu, we wont ever eat there for bkfst.

Think we may try 1900 PF bkfst next fall.
